I wonder, who did NiGHTS end up replacing as a flagman? Probably some random Chao, or worse, Omochao *shudders*. Good thing we steered clear away from that, I never want to see Omochao in another game as long as I live.

Why stop with the video game industry? Why not have NiGHTS take over the world! We'll have our militaries run by Pians. Our UN council will be reduced to the six hands of Wizeman. We'll have theme parks with nothing but Jackle attractions. Our schools can be taught using Reala education software. Our waters will be turned purple every July to commerate the anniversary of NiGHTS's debut.

And for those people who ask "How can NiGHTS be playable now that he's the flagman?", let me remind you continuity means jack squat in fanservice titles like this one. For example, in Marvel Ultimate Alliance people could download a character pack that gave them access to Doctor Doom, meaning people could actually have Doom in their party during the final boss battle with Doom. There is no reason NiGHTS can't be a flagman and a racer and really who's going to complain...well, other than Tristan.

In PS2 NiD you can fight Reala as Reala. Paradoxes are fun.

Maybe NiGHTS DLC will make Reala the flagman?

And I'd like to add that NiGHTS has been given a very important job in the game, and you will see him at the beginning and end of every race track.

It's like Sega's FORCING you to see NiGHTS. It's almost better than being playable, because it's NiGHTS OR ELSE.

Man, still getting over how we've finally seen NiGHTS in ASR.

Whee, NiGHTS could totally dance on the sidelines like when you see him in the Palace before Dualizing. Man if Sumo really shoehorned NiGHTS into the game within the past couple months, that's epic.. but still sad to think he might not have been in the game at all. No super cool NiGHTS courses either huh.. hm, we'll find out soon enough what the deal was/is, and whether we could see him become playable..

Or, Reala is actually playable and when you drive by NiGHTS, he shouts "THERE IS NO NiGHTS!" at him .. or not..
