Okay, I'm looking to start a new RP, but I need a few more new ideas to keep it from being...you know...repititive.

I've got a few story ideas, to begin with.

Idea 1 - An alternate universe/prequel where everyone is bad (NiGHTS included). I say alternate universe, because there are several fanmaren who aren't Nightmaren in the traditional sense, and were/are not evil at any point. This would be more of a laid-back, comical RP that involves scaring dreams and whatnot. Probably would be mature.

Idea 2 - Sonic-crossover RP. This one's pretty out there, but there's been a few hints (canonically) that NiGHTS' world and Sonic's world may be one in the same. Plot may involve Wizeman possessing Dr. Robotnik, or other villain (Chao 0 or Metal Sonic, maybe). NiGHTS and Sonic characters abound. This would be either a hit or a disaster. As with Sonic and NiGHTS games, it would be both a serious and comedic RP.

Idea 3 - Technological take on the traditional NiGHTS story, somewhat inspired by the idea of those crappy MegaMan internet games, or .hack. The "Nightmaren" are part of a video game world called Mare. Wizeman is a ghost in the machine, and is causing people to have seizures/die/wet themselves all over the world. Would be mostly serious, but comedic at times. Reala and the others would be anti-heroes rather than downright evil, because no one wants to get baleeted. So, in a way, it's the opposite of the first idea, in that everyone is good.

Idea 4 - Realistic take on the traditional NiGHTS story. Nightmaren are an alien race, come to Earth under orders of their leader, Wizeman. NiGHTS sort of becomes a superhero/pop culture icon (like Sonic, in Sonic X) as he fights his darker-intented bretheren. This would persuade other Nightmaren to defect (for fame, of course!). Both serious and comedic, as usual.

I'd just like any ideas you could supply. All of those call for people to be the canon Nightmaren, so you can call dibs on anyone. I'm leaning toward Ideas 1 and 3, myself, but I'd love to get input from you guys!

Idea 4 seems like, with a bit of a commedic 50s sci-fi vibe, could have a lot of potential. It seems to be the most interesting and creative to me.
