Personally, I'm quite excited! (..... okay okay, HAPPYFREAKINGSPAZMCFREAKFREAK EXCITED.) I've been hoping to hear more from Damon, Jamie, & Co. for a long time now. :D

There's a single as well - Stylo! Electronic music's a favorite of mine so this is WICKED AWESOME COOL to me, hehe! Some people aren't terribly fond of it, others are even more stoked than I am - what do you think? Is Phase 3 gonna be the big and glorious finale, or is it gonna crash and burn like the island from El Manana?

And speaking of, it looks like Noodle's doing fine... but after listening to Murdoc's Pirate Broadcast on their website, I can't help still wondering. XD

Thoughts, ideyas, theories and opinions are welcome! :3

I really like all of the Gorillaz music I've heard but I don't actually own any of their CDs. I need to get on that at some point...

Yeeeeeeesssss Nemoide... one of us! One of us! 8D

I think what I love about Gorillaz is how they can change genre, style, mood, just about anything, and still keep that vibe of theirs, yanno? It's funny to think that when I'm really stressed out, I can listen to them on my lunch break and be almost totally relaxed by it. XD Je ne sais quoi! Not even creepy ol' Murdoc can turn me away from the music!

.... well, I'm certainly never paying him a visit, but I'll listen to him anyway. XDD

Oh yeah I heard about that.. been a fan for long time. I remember when Cartoon Network used to show their videos during Toonami's midnight run, that was cool. Though Damon has done stuff with Adult Swim too, so there's always a chance they could do it again, I s'pose.

This is where i get my UK HipHop hat on.

I know UK related rap is hard to break over there in America however Gorillaz's new album features two UK rappers that i'd like to direct all your attention to.

The first UK rapper appearing on the album is Kano. The second is someone called Bashy. Keep an eye out for them, i'm personaly curious to know how those two are going to contribute to it.

Damon Albarn is personal friends with Kano so it's no surprise to see Kano make an appearance.

As for Bashy, i'm kinda loosely connected with him though don't know him personaly. A producer i know called Afrique Deluxe (name might sound familiar to some of you Sonic fans. Afrique made a mash up of Fergie's song Glamarous with a remix of the Green Hill Zone theme) had co-produced a song on Bashy's album last year.

-edit- (Just heard them, they're both on the song 'White Flag'. Bashy starts first with Kano coming in second then both of them going back to back).

As for the Gorillaz themselves, i've always appreciated Damon's idea to have the band be animated characters. If i could be successful in music making then i'd make myself a cartoon character too, lol XD
Music wise, i love some of the stuff they've done. Feel Good is a jam and De La Soul being on there made it even more interesting. Dirty Harry is another great song, i just love the beat they used on that.

This new album has my interest, i'll be keeping my eye on it.

Shame it didn't get as much attention as the last two, Stylo bombed unfortunately (in favour of other artists who aren't worthy) and their other album didn't do too greatly ether. I love it how Plastic Beach seemed to crop up quite a lot such as on here, SSMB and Radio SEGA. I wasn't expecting something Gorrillaz-y here of all places.

It is a shame indeed. People really need to hear Superfast Jellyfish and Rhinestone Eyes. If they don't listen to anything else from that album then they at least should listen to those two awesome tracks!
