Serious Monkey Business! Donkey Kong Country 2... OCR Album... Awesomeness.
This.

And the fact that Dave Wise, the original composer, did a REMIX for the project, along with fellow Rare composers Grant Kirckhope and Robin Beanland, is unbelievable.
Edit: Oh, and just another small happy fact: I might be signing a contract on my first house today. *throws confetti in the air*

*throws housewarming gifts* Quick day-dream: What if we all went over to 99's new house and had a housewarming party with video game background music and lulz. I call bringing the tortilla chips!Edit: Oh, and just another small happy fact: I might be signing a contract on my first house today. *throws confetti in the air*

Well, today is Friday! I get to play laser tag tomorrow, and hopefully get some sewing done. I'm so excited because the family is venturing to DC this year to see the cherry blossoms, and I want to wear my hand-made kimono as well. So far I haven't had too many difficulties, especially since it's silk that actually was made/brought back for me from Japan.

My happy thought: It's Spring Break! That's always a good thing. We're going tomorrow to briefly visit with our grandparents in West Virginia (they don't live there, they're just meeting us there), then we'll come back Wednesday and leave Thursday to stay overnight at Hershey Park until Saturday. @_@ Kind of hectic, but I think I'll be able to squeeze the homework and stuff in. Laptops are good things. Except for their touch-pad mouse-replacements. Those are annoying. But other than that...

Dawn of the Dead is a really good movie. It's funny, it's scary, it's epic, and the 70s mall is always good for a laugh.

I don't care if it's really him or if it's someone representing him, but Takenobu Mitsuyoshi (the man who did the music for Virtua Fighter 2+3, Sega Rally 1+2, Daytona USA 1+2, oh...and a little series known as SHENMUE!) is a fan of me on Facebook. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I've used drip machines, French press, a crappy "boiling water" espresso maker, a plastic thing that fits over a mug and you pour water directly into/stir, and the Aeropress beats 'em all.
Seriously. Damn good coffee. I recommend it to anyone who cares about taste.

Well, correction, I have a working COMPONENT stereo. I've had a crappy '90s boom-box for years, but as of today I've assembled a fully functional A/V setup.
So far I have:
- Tuner (AM/FM).
- CD Player.
- 33/45 Speed Turntable.
- LaserDisc Player.
- VHS VCR (2 o' 'dem).
It's an ungodly amalgamation of components from I dunno HOW many different companies (Pioneer, JVC, Fisher, Sharp, etc...), but it LOOKS awesome, and it sounds great. I can also now consider myself a de facto audiophile.
^^ Also, I can plug my game systems into it. NiGHTS is gonna sound AWESOME.

Fancy-pants audio setups are pretty sweet IMO. But you're not a "real" audiophile until you scoff at anyone who pays less than $10,000 for speaker wire... :P I wish I could afford this Blu-Ray player that can also play HDCDs, SACDs, and DVD-Audio discs. (I would have to buy a new receiver before that... I would have to get an awesome-paying job first.)

And, I'm caught up on most of my bills. Should be smooth sailing so long as I closely follow my budget the next few months.
Hope my follow-up with the doctor doesn't involve biopsies. So far it's just followups... I can deal with that.
