This is just an interview with Naoto Ohshima I came across. There's quite a bit on NiGHTS into Dreams... and Christmas NiGHTS. He also talks about his company Artoon (makers of Blinx the Time Sweeper), Sonic 2 and CD and the differences between the two, different things they wanted to do in Christmas NiGHTS, and the reason behind the Alarm Egg! Pretty interesting!

I love interviews. 
That behind-the-scenes stuff always intrigues me.
I wonder just how big those Nightopias would be to the kids if the Egg-Clocks never caught them. I could just imagine NiGHTS waving to Claris or Elliot as they became a tiny speck on edge of the landscape.
"Get back - where are you going? We have to stop Wizeman! Wha- That's not how you destroy an Ideya Capture!"

Well, maybe the Egg-Clock is in a way looking out for NiGHTS.
Think about it. If not for the Clock, then the kids could easily abandon the poor Maren.

Heh, dunno if the kids would be up to fighting the Nightmaren alone though.. even if Elliot and Claris could free their Ideya and proceed to Nightmare, how the heck would they take on the likes of Gillwing, Reala, Gulpo, Jackle.. I could go on.. even when flying, the kids can't Paraloop. They'd get stuck eventually.

Ah yeah, i read this last week or something, gotta love Oshima, he's always got a lot of creative heart to him. He's like NiGHTS' daddy XD I would love to meet him one day. It's such a shame he didn't work on JoD because it would have looked a lot different if he had ;_;
I wonder if i could pull some strings and get him to do a NiGHTS orientated interview since i know he adores NiGHTS a lot. Hmm.
