Hell, I was thinking of flying to London first a few days early so you guys could show me the city before heading to Scotland. Correct me if I'm wrong but all the ritzy hotels are in south London right? XD

South London? LOL no i think it's the opposite XD The North is posh (well supposedly). Though in central London because everything is so close together it doesn't matter what side of the river you're on because it's all expensive as hell. London is badass though and you DO need to visit! Though if you're visiting before Auchi remember you'd have to also book plane/train from London to Edinburgh which is usualy ranging from £25 to £200 depending on how you leg it. I'm not sure how we're getting there yet, train most probably. So the more you know~

The contrast between London and Edinburgh is hilarious though. Clean air omnomnom.

I'll probably do whatever you guys do just to have some company. The initial flight to Europe will likely be the most expensive part so I'm probably going to try being fairly cheap. I rather like train rides though. Very relaxing. Took an Amtrak halfway across my country. Still, it's a long way off and I can save money/mooch from relatives. The bottom line is best to start saving soon.

It was Zero who remembered that it opened on this passed Friday (where I thought it was *this* Friday), so it was one of those things to run down to the hotel lobby to take care of on the public access machines.

The excitement is there, but it's buried under my jet lag and the con-blues.

Providing you (Infractus) and Zero can actually make it over, you two should consider getting a hotel room together as it will be cheaper and probably more convenient. Last Auchi me and Lynne shared a room with Wyldflowa and not only was it a laugh but it worked out really well in terms of expenses.

I'm not sure if there are any plans for us to be selling anything at Auchi this time, we might all just be attending the con to enjoy the con itself rather than sell sh!t. But we'll see.

So, technically ...this is the road to Auchinawa 2010. How bizarre. It's come around so quick, lol.

XD I got my room sorted last night, bear in mind that the Auchinawa discount on rooms inside the hotel is £100 per night (and includes breakfast), and only works for Friday 19th, Saturday 20th, and Sunday 21st nights if you're booking one there.

Just read on the Auchi committee twitter acount that as of two hours ago there are only 29 spaces left. So, they could all be gone by this point.

It's nuts how quickly the tickets for this thing go. Last time, me and TRiP barely made it in. I was actually the last person to get a ticket.

Considering how full it already is and how strapped I am for funds already (I had to turn down at least one convention trip as it is, and that one was still in-states), I am 99.999999999% sure I won't make it out this year. My funds are all being put into other things. I'll hop across the pond at some point, but this year won't be it. Be sure to wear plenty of Will's Father masks!

i have almost finished my reala costume, so i will officially be able to nerd out to a NIGHTSy vibe at auchinawa XD and as Level 99 said lets make Will's Dad masks. oh yes, we'd do quite well with that notion.
