Can somebody please give me the names of all the nightmaren (from both games) that you see in the stages (not the boss nightmaren), such as the Shleeps and Seapos? Thank you!

Yeah, the NiD ones are online, no prob there. We really need more info up for the JoD minions, seems like we might even need to take screenshots in order to get good pictures of them? Anyone seen the JP manual for JoD? Maybe it has more info. Wow, I'm really curious about that now.

But anyway I'll do my best to describe the JoD maren here, from what I remember at the moment:

Seapo - seahorse type, occurs in Pure Valley
Goodle - Holds key, appears in every stage, we have pic of this one on the site
Murtle - turtle type, appears in Crystal Castle
Mothpil - moth type, appears in Delight City
Eelon- electric eel type, appears in Delight City stages
Beez Pod- bee type, appears in Delight City
Scaropion- scorpion type, appears in Lost Park
Deworm- blue worm type, freezes time, appears in Memory Forest

There's also a puffer-fish type that appears in Aqua Garden I forgot the name of that's missing from this list.

I have a copy of the Japanese JOD Guide, that has some pretty good pictures of the JoD maren in it. It also has all thier Japanese names, but unfortunately no english ones. I just recently bought a scanner, so i'll get round to scanning this particular page at somepoint for you all :P

As for the maren themselves, I'll combine whats in the book with viperxmns' list.

Shleep - Sheep Maren, from NiD, appears in Pure Valley
Seapo - Seahorse Maren, appears in Pure Valley/Aqua Garden
Mewwy - Seagull Maren, appears in Pure Valley/Aqua Garden
Balooga - Pufferfish Maren, appears in Aqua Garden
Murtle - Turtle Maren, appears in Crystal Castle
Mothpil - Moth Maren, appears in Memory Forest/Delight City
Eelon- Electric Eel Maren, appears in Deligh City
Beez Pod - Bee Hive Maren, appears in Delight City
Beez - Bee Maren, appears in Deligh City (now, my guide has different names/maren sections for both the hive and the bees)
Scaropion - Scorpion Maren, appears in Lost Park
Deworm - Caterpillar/Worm Maren, appears in Memory Forest

Goodle - Bird Maren, holds keys, appears in every stage.

Ah good move Jof. I forgot about that bird one. If anything, maybe I'll play some JoD to get Owl to remind me which Maren is what, lol. Gotta hit up the Aqua Garden..

Still, the bee Maren has a name...so that's a bit tricky...

Edit: Maybe it's just Beez. *shrug* If so, it's not so tricky. *brick'd* That's it. No more late night writing. :P

I think that sounds good. A good way to tell would be if some of the japanese characters on the beez hive bit match the ones for the standalone bee, in which case they share a common name.

Shleep - Sheep Maren, from NiD, appears in Pure Valley
Seapo - Seahorse Maren, appears in Pure Valley/Aqua Garden
Mewwy - Seagull Maren, appears in Pure Valley/Aqua Garden
Balooga - Pufferfish Maren, appears in Aqua Garden
Murtle - Turtle Maren, appears in Crystal Castle
Mothpil - Moth Maren, appears in Memory Forest/Delight City
Eelon- Electric Eel Maren, appears in Deligh City
Beez Pod - Bee Hive Maren, appears in Delight City
Beez - Bee Maren, appears in Deligh City (now, my guide has different names/maren sections for both the hive and the bees)
Scaropion - Scorpion Maren, appears in Lost Park
Deworm - Caterpillar/Worm Maren, appears in Memory Forest

Goodle - Bird Maren, holds keys, appears in every stage.

Could someone name all of the third-level nightmaren in JoD? I know some but name them all for me please.

We already talked about this here except NiD Marens were talked about too. Here's what was finally compiled:

Edit: If that wikidreamia ever gets going, that list is going to help quite a bit. X3
Edit 2: Thanks Jof! Guess my post is pretty useless now.

Weird. I know it's been a while since I played JoD last but I honestly can't recall ever seeing Scaropion or Mewwy.

Is it just me or do the concept arts look more interesting than the game models? I'd have to check again, but a couple seem to look a bit different there. It's probably just me though.

Edit: Eelon's cousin :) Posted Image

Weird. I know it's been a while since I played JoD last but I honestly can't recall ever seeing Scaropion or Mewwy.

They're easy to miss cause they're so small. The Scaropion is what carries that big ball blocking your way before the boulders blocking the train in Lost Park, and the other ball over the water. The Mewwy is in Lost Park, too, I think, in the clouds. It's also in Aqua Garden right after you pull out of the loop around the coral shelf before the cave/tunnel part.
