A World Premier Brand New Movie launched this morning on 4Kids TV. and the movie is (TURTLES FOREVER) the plot in short. is that the Animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles of Today MEET and TEAM up with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles of THE CLASSIC 80's Cartoon show. This movie is a TRUE NINJA TURTLES ULTIMATE GEEK's ORGASMIC FAN DREAM COME TRUE. I LOVE IT.

I would kind of like to see it, I grew up with the original cartoon series.

But I watched some of it in college and it doesn't hold up all that well, it was pretty stupid and excessively wacky. Fun for a burst of nostalgia but nothing for me to get excited about?

I am a huge fan of the Mirage TMNT comics though. Those are great and seriously underrated. Unfortunately it might be ending in 2011. T_T

What huh? I didn't know about that.. I'll check it out now.. lol, I'm liking this..

See that's the thing, the classic cartoon is obviously a gem of my youth, but the 2003 series was actually more 'pure' to the original material (only bad part of the new series was the intro)

What a coincidence, cause one of the best TMNT remixes I've ever heard in my life was posted today:

At first I thought that 4Kids was going to ruin it completely... but it was actually good X3.

Some of my favorite parts included: Hun getting irritated that 80's Raphael was breaking the fourth wall, the 80's and 2003 turtles meeting the original turtles, 80's Shredder meeting the 2003 Shredder, and a few others.

It was worth it JUST for the Anti-Technodrome roller-skates!
I saw this movie a few weeks back, and lemme tell ya, it was MAGNIFICENT. I think some of the voice acting could have been done better, but otherwise, everything fits together VERY nicely.
Krang has to be my favorite character, though. Always has been, always will be.
