[Level 99]

I started working on a dancey remix of Paternal Horn for the campaign and then realized that it has absolutely nothing to do with the campaign. I mean, who associates dance remixes of NiGHTS songs with campaigns to get him included as DLC in a game? Dunno what I was thinking...

Anyways, still working on a video in every second I have. I wanna do this right if I do it since it would be my first youtube upload EVAR. That being said, I don't think the internet will be able to forget NiGHTS for a very long time, let alone the google search engine or the forums that have been posted on, lol.

The way i see it is if NiGHTS has captured you no matter which game you've played and you came to apreciate they essence of what NiGHTS is trying to give the player then it's doing it's job and we're happy to have another fan of his here

Oddly enough, i grew to love NiGHTS' new outfit too. I still love the old one but this one brings a different kind of character to NiGHTS. Anyways, i'm side tracking.

No matter what game you've seen NiGHTS in, if it's brought you here then we are happy to have you.

DiGi isn't a terrorist. He's just a crazed bunnyman! XD lol Seriously though, I think we should find a way to step up our game some. I'm just going to list a few possible ideas and you can share your thoughts of them:

1. cosplay videos that promote the campaign

2. anyone with animation skills doing a short clip of NiGHTS riding a vehicle with captions that basically say something along the lines of Don't Forget NiGHTS!

3. those who are musicians who haven't done songs yet do some. maybe even make an actual music video. wearing NiGHTS cosplay in the video would be great.

4. contacting sites like Game Spot and ask them if they could run anything about the campaign.

5. possibly make an actual website for the campaign itself.

These are just some random ideas I came up with though. Feel free to say what you want or put up your own ideas.

This is nothing campaign related but i figured it would be nice for you all to read and see there are still a few good ones working at SEGA. Kevin Eva (ArchangelUK) SEGA community manager and had this to say on Twitter earlier today -

"The NiGHTS community on average is a darn slight nicer and in many ways stronger than the Sonic community IMO."

Don't read too much in to it, it's just Kevin talking about our community. But it's nice to know some people at SEGA like this fanbase.

I've said it in the main 'video responses' topic but we really need more support for the campaign other than just talking in forums. It's good, they read up on forums. But we need to really make more impacts and videos are another great way of getting yourself heard. You don't need to show your face but say something showing support for NiGHTS.

Pushing the campaign and trying to get more people on board won't work, we'll just end up annoying people now. It's now down to the people we have to make enough of an impact.

This is not over, not by a long shot. We have to keep going with this. Please, people.

WAHAHAAA so much to catch up on, campaign, Winter EP, other sketching projects, school, work, Christmas - it's a busy time of year, but I did sketch something out!

Yes, I did a sort-of comic - a possible conversation between NiGHTS and Sonic about this whole ASR thing. I showed it to my sister, who is the biggest Sonic fan I know, and she found it very amusing! Once it's cleaned up I'm gonna post it on my DA page. :3

It's no video, but it's a little something-something. I hope to have it posted either later tonight or tomorrow, if everything works out. May I post the link here or in another topic? Whichever's preferred!

I know this seems counter-productive, but how about a couple days rest with videos and forum responses, and then come back again big? Give people the impression that we've stopped, and then just when they think we're gone, BAM youtube flood. As with all things in life, people get used to something if it's constant. So a constant stream of action from us is probably something people are expecting at the moment since we haven't really let up, though activity has started to lull just a little. Just a small thought.

I'm not sure if it's been planned or mentioned, but is there a definitive stopping point besides Sega addressing the issue or the game getting released, or are those the two stopping points?

If we had time i'd love to take a break from doing this, believe me. Releasing the EP was a big enough break for me though personaly. Now it's back on.

This game releases within the first few months of next year. DLC would technically need to be finalised before the actual game releases, hence why in recent interviews it's been stated that they're discussing DLC now. So ...it's now or never, really.

It's not like we're getting many response videos anyway, which is why i'm asking for more people to speak up. We can all hush up after this is over. And hopefully we'll not have to do this again.

I'm in total agreement with you for the time-being, Luke. Sega is much more a publisher than it is a creator of games anymore, and most Sonic Team games are terrible or hit-or-miss since the reformation. However, this game is being done by Sumo Digital, a very very good game developer. Also, if Sega see's this much support for NiGHTS and ever does eventually consider doing another game, they could give it to a different team and maybe have them do an adequate job. Furthermore, it wouldn't take THAT much to port the original over to PSN/XBL and appease the fans a great deal. So yes, Sega may make lots of sh!t, but that doesn't mean all of it is. Sega's leading their games now on a legacy that's becoming increasingly tainted as more time and more bad games get put into history...

I'm awfully late to catching this post, but the fact that it's not being developed by Sonic Team or Sega for that matter gives it hope.

Plus any company that isn't Nintendo deals with third parties fairly well...
