Hello! I just recently joined this site and thought I'd show off my NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams Cosplay.
I won Best Novice Construction with this in the Anime Iowa 2009 Masquerade...which was really exciting.
I hope you all like my costume!

(I apologize that some of the pics are dark...they were taken at night. I'll post some ones taken during Halloween soon. I'll also post some construction pics when I can.)

that head is downright epic, i always think people cosplaying as NiGHTS look weird because their eyes are normal sized and they have noses, but you dont have this issue! certainly better than anything i could make!

Haha...Yeah...I kind of had it in mind that NiGHTS wasn;t really NiGHTS without the large head and large eyes...so I decided to make one... I could have used something better than a rubber ball as a base, i suppose, but...all I have near me that sells anything craft realted is a Wal*Mart.

Yeah, it's cool to see someone attempting NiGHTS's complete head in costume form. If I were to do a cosplay of NiGHTS I'd wanna venture that for sure. At least having proper eye-holes is no problem! It's just a matter of materials, like you said..

Now I'm picturing perching in NiGHTS's 'flute' pose on a building at night somewhere, mystifying passers-by.
