Even then, weren't both of those exclusive to Japan?Christmas Nights was a sampler that was given out during christmas of 1996, so you would have to buy it seperatly, unless you buy the PS2 remake, which was a combination of both, which I might be getting.

But I strongly suggest the PS2 one. I have it and it's AMAZING~ Buying the game and and extra $30 to get your PS2 to run Japanese games isn't that bad. Plus I think you can still get the dreampack. It's got the story book.
Lets see now... A Saturn is about $50, plus NiGHTS ($18) and a 3D-controller ($30) is $98.00. Then if you find a CHEAP copy of X-mas NiGHTS, that adds another $50 to it.
If you have a PS2 already, fliptop+Swap magic discs ($35), and NiGHTS ($40-$50), that's $75 to $85.
So... Yeah. I'm done comparing prices. 8P
But remember that the PS2 one has X-mas NiGHTS, re-vamped NiGHTS, Saturn graphic NiGHTS, Reala on April 1st, and a few Christmas things plus an art and movie gallery AND the NiGHTOPiAN viewer, I'd really suggest PS2.
The only thing I need to do is glue a saturn thumpad on my PS2 controller. I like the NiGHTS controller better. Your finger stays in place. 8P

IDK, I'm paranoid about modding my systems so I like just having a magical wonderful cart that lets me do whatever I want?

One thing I have heard from players though is that the PS2 version of NiD feels sluggish and doesn't control quite as smoothly as the original Saturn version.PS2 NiGHTS yes, Christmas NiGHTS no. You can find US christmas NiGHTS. I've seen copys on eBay everytime I look.

Anyway like anyone else has said XMas NiGHTS on the Saturn is indeed a separate disc and nothing of it is included within NiD itself.

Technically yes. It only has one level (Spring Valley) for Claris and a different version of Spring Valley for Elliot, but it changes with the seasong to become a special version for winter and an even more special version for Christmas. In addition to that, though, you can open Christmas presents, which unlock things like Sonic in Spring Valley, galleries, karaoke, a thing that lets you spy on Pians in both games, and much more.So Christmas NiGHTS is only a sample disc?
