I'm sure that everyone here knows about both of these but I recently discovered that I can make NiGHTS cry. I did not know that all you had to do was walk up to NiGHTS and walk away when he reaches for you. Cruel? You bet, but it's fun.

I also found out that you can squish Claris in Mystic Forest. I just flew down into the cave area and ran out of time. So I'm just jumping around collecting stars and then DOOSH!! The place closes in on me and I got a Night Over. It was kind of traumatizing to tell you the truth. I sat there with my mouth open wide for a few seconds in disbelief. I never expected to see that. Not in this game at least.

You can make NiGHTS bump his head. Just run up to the ideya palace, the jump backwards as he zooms forward. If you abuse he enough, he refuses to dualize.

I did not know about making NiGHTS cry! I can't believe I'm still learning about things in this game.

It's not "bad" but if I'm not playing in the mood to play as the kids, I like making NiGHTS drive an invisible car (reaching NiGHTS before the little cut scene at the start of each level is over).

Dang man... A lot went into NiD (still a bit annoyed I've never played it). Any chance of someone playing and getting the footage of these things onto youtube or something? I'm sure there are other NiGHTS fans who don't know about these things.

Personally, I'd liked to see NiGHTS refuse to dualize. Never thought it'd happen... Guess he really can hold a grudge (....*facepalm* duh, he has a grudge against Wizeman too). I meant Visitors. A grudge against Visitors. >> Dang man... Guess I have some new material to work off of.

Anyway, I usually just play right through. But I paraloop Pians. But since I can't save the pians*no memory card* I guess it's considered Pian murder...MWAHAHAHAHAHA!! >

Sometimes I like to watch the nightmaren eat my pians! I find it happens a lot in the first mare of splash garden.

Also in splash garden, it's fun to run out of time in the underwater section of mare 4. It's amazing Elliot can make it out of there alive!

I also enjoy chasing pians when they're afraid of you! IIRC they're crying while you do it!

Best place to do it is at the bottom of the tower in Stick Canyon.

invisible cars?

ah yeah, dude! You didn't know about this secret? Try this on Spring Valley. The second it goes from the cut screen of Claris falling in to the level start pressing forward towards the Ideya Palace. Even when you get mugged by the Marens and it goes to the quick cut-scene of them placing your Ideya in the Ideya Captures, during that short scene keep pressing forward. Claris should still be moving forward even though it doesn't show it. During the quick scene where the Maren drops the Ideya in the Ideya Capture you'll hear the dualize noise to tell you it's worked and when the scene is finished instead of cutting back to Claris standing infront of NiGHTS it'll go straight to the first lap and NiGHTS will be stuck in a position that looks like he's driving an invisibile car. The moment you drill-dash he comes out of the pose though XD

The worst thing i've ever done in NiD? Just the usual paralooping Pians, i guess. I'm more of a bastard in JoD XD

I hate pians, so paralooping them is fun, even if it makes my BGM turn sad. I like to find the eggs and hatch-paraloop them at the same time. The egg shell goes *crack*, the pian sees sunlight for about two seconds, and then screams into eternity.

I also like touch-dashing maren, and then finding where they land so I can see them all dizzy. They're so funny when they have little spirals for eyes.

Wow, I didn't know that their eyes became spirals. There's so much detail in the NiGHTS games.

Oh yes. I hate to admit it but it is kinda fun to make NiGHTS cry and pout. I've never had him not dualize with me before though... I oughta try it.

Not something I can help but I get a kick outta every time Claris/Elliot try to get at NiGHTS the first time and NEVER succeed. I get a good "HAHA" out of it here and there ;

Or you could purposely fly right INTO the spiked loops...

I did that too, The way the game puts it is hilarious, "Nightopians are not your enemy."

And I always thought that NiGHTS got frustrated if you walked up to him and then walked off, similar to the storybook.

Worst I can think of is paralooping Pians. I end up apologizing, even if they're just a silly little sprite. Not like they did anything to bother me. Unless I end up accidentally hatching one of their eggs when I screw up something I was trying to do. >:|

I remember in Lost Park, I ran Will all the way up that tower thing where the Dreamdrop is. I had him jump off it from the very top. ^^; (On the plus side, it shook all the Awakers off!)

I think I tried jumping but I always ended up landing back on the staircase.
