What type of computer are you using right now? Specs and stuff? Is it a PC or a Mac? Or do you just surf using an Iphone or the Wii?

Tell me and feel free to add photos!

Here's the PC i use:

20inch ASUS monitor (IT'S SO SHINY T_T <3) it can even be turned so the screen is long ways like a tall screen!

HP Pavilion Slimline (It tends to overheat because it's compact)
AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual core processors, 4400+ 2.30gh, 2gb ram
space- 458gb external back up HD-232gb

wireless keyboard and mouse (which sounds GREAT but its CRAP, they lag and run out of battery power so fast >_<) Still i hate cables so they look nice.

Wacom bamboo tablet

we have a very shiny black set up just now lol.

That screen is big.

I don't know the exact specs, but I'm using my HP Pavilion ze2000 laptop. It's a little over four years old and it's starting to show it's age. I don't think I'll ever bother getting a laptop again.

Be honest, TRiPPY...this was just an excuse for you to show off your big new screen and make us all jealous.

Just for that, I'll need to post pictures of my entire music-making rig later! GRRR!

4 gigs of ram
400+ GB HD space

Custom built. :3 Makes a very nice gaming PC.

And now...here comes the (poor) nerd. Warning: this post contains obnoxiousness.

- AMD Athlon 64 3200+
(SINGLE CORE FOR MAXIMUM SEQUENTIALNESS)

- 2 GB twin-channel DDR RAM
(THAT'S RIGHT ITS DOUBLE THE DATA RATE ON TWO CHANNELS SO ITS LIKE QUAD TIMES THE AWESOME)

- 22" HP monitor, 16:9 widescreen
(THEY TOLD YOU NEVER GIVE AN INCH; WELL I SUCKERED 22 PEOPLE!)

- NVidia/XFX 8600GT, PCI-express 1.0
(EXPRESS MEANS THE PIXELS TAKE THE BULLET TRAIN TO MY SCREEN! A REGULAR PCI BUS CAN'T GO DIRECT TO TOKYO!)

- Two internal drives (250gb, 500gb) and one external (500gb)
(ONE AND A QUARTER TERABYTES FOR BACKING UP THE INTERNET!)

- Triple-booting (yes) Windows XP, Windows 7 RC, and Ubuntu Linux 9.04
(THREE IN ONE LIKE A GENESIS WITH A SEGA CD WITH A 32X! I CAN FEEL the POWAHHHH)

- And of course, my Logitech G15 keyboard. I wouldn't leave it for anything.
(No joke here. This is the second-nicest keyboard in the world.)

HP W1907 19" Widescreen LCD Monitor (main)
A shitty second monitor only used for keeping messaging programs, music players, references open on when I'm working.

The computer is custom so I don't know much about the insides.
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual core processor 6000+ 3.00GHz
4GB ram.
Space- Main drive 125GB. Extra drive with 340GB.
Logitech trackball mouse. Logitech G15 keyboard.
9x12 Intuos2 Platinum Wacom tablet.

There, happy?

Core 2 Quad Q6600 Stock clock
4 GB DDR2 1066
Ati Radeon 4850 w/custom cooler
Sound Blaster Xfi Platinum w/frontface
Lexicon Lambda
Line6 Pod XT
M-Audio Keystation 49e
Umm....lots and lots of hard-drives. Total: 2 TB internal, 2 TB external.
Windows XP, Windows Vista Business, and Windows 7 RC

Needless to say, I can not use the "my computer is too slow" excuse for not being productive... :D

    Oh, and NiGHTS.
The computer I have is old, it's old enough that when I type the letters don't appear when I actually type them. :D

But then I did get this computer free, oh and to specify, it's just my computer. It was more of a cleaning project when I got it, the person who had it before screwed it up, I can't even use iTunes because the original my music folder was deleted *I even went and copied another my music folder from another computer, still didn't work.* Anyways...

Specs.

1.1 GHz Intel Celeron Processor

512 MB SDRam

40 GB Hard Drive

Windows XP

17 inch monitor

Underneath the desk is a mess of wires, so I try not to look at it. :D

Nice screen TRiPPY :D

Let's see,

SAMSUNG R710
- 17" Screen, HDMI out
- Intel Core 2 Duo T600 @2.00 GHz
- 3Gb RAM
- NVidia GeForce 9300M GS
- 300Gb Hard Drive

And Running the Windows 7 RC (Need to update to the release, getting it free with Uni :D)

This is what I replaced my old Desktop with. It's almost better in every way, and has the added bonus of, y'know, being portable !

I HAVE A NEW COMPUTER.

Asus G60VX "Republic of Gamers" edition notebook with Windows 7 Professional

Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 / Penryn / 2.13GHz / 1066 MHz FSB
....... overclockable to 2.3 GHz / 1150 FSB out of the box using included Asus drivers!
4 GB DDR2 / PC2-6400 RAM
....... CAS 6, 6-6-6-18 timing, two DIMMs
NVidia 260GTXM with 1 GB dedicated DDR3
....... 120 Stream Processors. 500MHz core, 1200 MHz shaders, 800 MHz memory. Manually OC'd to 550/1300/900
1366x768 16" display
320 GB HDD (with open slot for additional drive)
....... Automatic RAID-0 configuration if connected
Blu-Ray disc drive
2.0MP Webcam with Microphone
....... Includes facial recognition login (yes!)

The important stuff:
Crysis (High): avg 38 frames
Crysis (V. High): avg 20 frames
Portal: Constant 60
Doom 3: 220
3DMark06: 14,659

Windows 7 experience index (maximum in any category is 7.9, overall score is the lowest category value):
......................Factory........OC'd
CPU.................5.7.............5.9
Memory............5.8.............6.1
Desktop GPU.....6.7.............6.8
Gaming GPU......6.7.............6.8
HDD.................5.9.............5.9

For $999 USD / 612 GBP / 671 EUR, I think I did pretty well. That and every component except for the graphics card is user-upgradeable. In two years I'll pick up a Core 2 Quad or i7 and keep this thing running into the mid 2010's ^_^

I should sit down and go through all my specs, but I have an Inspiron 1525 Dell PC (the last Inspiron I had lasted five years before giving out; I think I like this line), 15.4" screen, running Vista... It works just fine, for me.

Wacom Intuos3 tablet's hooked up always. I won't take a photo of the setup, though, because my table is a mess. ...and the X figure I have to my right of the computer is now doing the splits. -Fixes him-

My god, my computer feels so insignificant.
I have a Acer T135
A AMD Sempron 2.1Ghz 3300+ processor
704MB of RAM (Ungraded from a lousy 192)
Windows XP Service Pack 3
A Lite-On Combo SOHC-5236V DVD/CD Burner drive
A VIA/S3G Unichrome Pro IGP video card (sucks donkey nuts)
A Dell E770p Monitor (from my old computer)
A Logitech keyboard
Some kind of wired optical mouse
And a cheap $10 pair of speakers.
