Are there any sort of objects that keep appearing in you dreams? I have a few:
-The number 6
-Music notes
-Playing cards
-Fireworks
-Water
-The color blue

Also, the 6 of Diamonds (kinda like a combination of two) has appeared quite a few times recently, too. Intriguing me enough to use it as one of my bookmarks. Anyone wanna share their feelings of what appears in their dreams, or elaborate on the things in dreams?

Maybe not an item, but Swimmy, my cat who I'd had from childhood, died last November, and since then I've been seeing her every now and then in my dreams. I really loved that cat and I still miss her a lot, so it's nice that I can still "visit" her sometimes.

It's more like specific places for me.

Old elementary school
Rundown/abandoned carnival or fair

"Items" usually deal with current influences. When I liked Yu-Gi-Oh! (Pharaoh was still there) I saw cards and Seto Kaiba. For Pokemon it was badges and Spyro had those power-up gates. Invader Zim...has interesting effects (once I was Gaz and once I was shot into an Irken factory).

But...some creatures do show up more so than other things.

Dinosaurs (I've run away from them on more than one occasion.)
Spiders (Black Widow... Yes, I'm paranoid.)
Snakes (It was in the shower...from the showerhead!)
A blue, nameless anthropomorphic cat (She was there for some nights then vanished not so long ago.)

...And things dealing with death. (Graveyards, angry spirits, Jason Vorheez, Shadow the Hedgefish, impossible wounds to survive from; things like that.)

I present to you a fraction of what haunts my dreams. Maybe Reala and Wizeman are up to something...

Yup!

Planes, trains and cruiseliners, tube trains.

The sea.

Shopping mall, hotel and mansion.

Also public parks and trees.

I also dream about characters and items from my comic popping up.

i've had this same circus with this same ringmaster and jester in my dreams for ages, so much so, i actually learnt how to draw him properly and proceeded to weave a tale for him  he's a human jester though, none of this noseless malarky! :D and my own characters are always floatin about in my head in dreams, i've even partied with them a few times :P no inanimate objects that i've noticed though...

Bridges, really neat bridges that connect from one landscape to another.

Giant WalMarts that are packed full of things, but never have the items I'm looking for. I generally get lost and frustrated.

Fish.

Water - lakes, oceans, rivers, pools. Still working on painting a few of the scenes from a few that really stood out...

Something i've noticed about items in my dreams is that an item is RARELY one item, it's usualy a combination of a couple of things all mashed into one. Like my birdfish, flying trainboats and househotels.

I dream a lot about the house I grew up in. Everything about it is so engrained into my memory, that it shows up a lot in my dreams and everything is there in nearly perfect detail.

I rarely have the same item appear consistently, but things I see during the day often appear wildly exaggerated in my dreams. For example, I tried on some masks with a friend the other day. In my dream that night, there was a giant mask shop with masks all over the walls and ceiling, and mem, my mum, and my friend all wore masks throughout the dream. I've been seeing that Guy Fawkes mask from V for Vendetta in the the most random places lately, so that ended up being the mask I wore. ;)

Not really an object, but a theme that occurs a lot in my dreams is a general lack of nature in general. I do see see parks and gardens in my dreams but they're always dead.

And when actual living nature is in my dreams, it's usually grass, or around ruined buildings, covering or ensnaring it, or I see it, but never go outside the entire dream. There was one specific dream in which I was in a swamp and there was a ruined mansion. as soon as i stepped "outside" the mansion through one of the holes in the wall, I woke up.

In short, my dreams are either entirely devoid of nature or completely full of it.

Also, I lol'd at "flying trainboats".

The places that are usually in my dreams are either woods, parks, cities, just the sky, or my school. Nearly always at night, too. Other things that pop in are fire, amusement park rides, skyscrapers, and rain's a big one. Most of the items in my dreams aren't like anything out of Dr. Seuss, just plain realistic things. The dream scenarios, however, are usually not.

BTW, there was a lot of snow in my dream last night. I love snow. :)

I see lots of people, some distant friends and my BF alot. I try to use them as symbols but I don't really catch on.

Also androids or "synthetic/fake people" I guess.

The ocean, chock pack with gigantic meteor apocalypses that would be better off on my wallpaper than scaring the sh!t out of me in my sleep. :)
