[NNR07]

This probably applies more to things you do in a LD, opposed to a normal dream. But, ah well.

What do you like to do in a dream? What's your favorite thing to do? For me, it's meeting with NiGHTS or other marens, but, aside from that, it's probably getting lost in my own dreamscape. I get easily lost in admiring nature. And, I love forests (particularly, dark ones with small opening for light in them, sort of like Mystic Forest). >.> I love nature *hugs nature*. I like to study dreams, talk to the people in them, learn about my dreamscapes, etc. etc.

So, what is it?

... That's what I was going to say D: But yeah, what she said, it's hard. Except it's more like swimming in the air 'n stuff (wasn't that what it was like in the Science of Sleep? ... that movie bored me). And yeah, I have trouble keeping myself up. AIR DOGGY PADDLE WOOO.

That, or conversing with dream peoples, whenever I have the ability to speak for myself my dreams. Lucidity, whuteva.

I love to fly in my dreams.

I'm not very good at making myself fly right now. But I am getting better at it. Right now I wouldn't call it flying, I would call it jumping high in the air and slowly floating down. Not much of a name, but oh well. I'm sure some people know what I'm talking about.

I tried to fly once, but I comically fell belly down to the ground and almost got hit by a limo. Basically, the same thing you described happens (or happened) to me.

I can fly pretty good..except sometimes it takes more than one try, like in one dream..
Me: Oh god the clowns are behind me!! (don't ask) Gotta get away! *jumps and falls down* Crap! *jumps and stays floating* THERE we go..And now that I've become lucid..*turns to clown hoard with evil grin*

That's anothing thing: I abuse my powers liberally. If you've ever read my dream diary you got some small idea of what I do >.>. Police after me? I go invisible and scare the living daylights out of them, then beat them up. I break and enter constantly and steal (mostly as Sierra, cuz it's her job). I make things spontaniously combust on a semi nightly basis just cuz I feel like it. And I torment people constantly, cuz THEY CAN'T TOUCH THIS! (yes I said it.) Ah, fun times. ^______^

I like to just spontaneously create things.

I once made a car appear out of thin air, jumped in, and drove it. It was pretty cool. Then... it transformed into robotic battle armor, which I wasn't really expecting. XD

Fly, of course, fight, meet my friends (I dreamt about Q today. o_O""") and some other things.

I also like to let the dream flow without my interruption. I dislike going lucid and changing everything, I like to see where we can go without changing nothing.

Personally, since I usually see myself in the third-person-perspective, I try and change my physical appearance. My current favourite is growing dragon wings and flying around.

I've only had one or two dreams similar to that. But, I love those kinda dreams :3!

Due to ridiculous amounts of inexperience, it is kind of difficult for me to become lucid... But in my dreams, I seem to adapt to whatever the dreams setting is. But I seem to always use magic and summoning powers to destory my enemies, so I guess I enjoy doing magic in my dreams.

It's kinda difficult for me too ><. Since my mind has been busy trying to get NiGHTS into my dreams, I haven't been concentrating on doing anything else while lucid. But, I did get NiGHTS in my last lucid dream. But, he had a kinda shocked expression, and I've only been trying to get NiD characters in my dreams, not do anything else......

Dream magic is fun , although, I've done very little of it....

There's one I go to to think whenever I can, when thigns get too much, its a humongous cathedral, dark except for the lights, small and minimal, on the edgtes of the ceiling and the stained glass hanging above the gigantious tree, so big you can not see the ceiling and you can not see the walls from the center. Its empty and quiet, but I guess I love going thorugh there, as it also provides portals for other places to explore.

Generally I can't control my dreams. Full lucidity is still beyond my grasp.

But out of my semi-lucid ones I tend to end up running really really fast. The feel of the wind rushing past, the sheer joy of being able to run forever without getting tired. Those are my favourite, and I wouldn't change them even if I could. You can keep your flight, pure speed's my thing

Semi-lucidity's getting more common for me. Maybe I'll be able to work my way into full lucidity sometime. Then I'll really have some fun

Ah, full lucidity! I'm not there quite yet, but my dream recall's been better than ever! (My blog is so crammed full.. ^^;; ) When I do get semi-lucid, I love to fly, much like everyone else - 'cept Feniiku, but hey, running super-fast is cool too! :3 I don't seem to have much trouble flying, but I can't exactly pull off loop-de-loops. Practice makes perfect! Ganbatte!

Other things I enjoy doing.. well, talking with dream-people is pretty cool. And I would LOVE to explore a fully realized dreamscape! I just have no ideya what mine would be like..

Ah, one of my favorite things to do! It's especially fun because for some reason few people in my dreams expect me to do such things, so they freak out and call me a witch. And then I laugh at them and fly away. ^______^

I did that once... I just ran for miles around my neighborhood. It's become one of my favorite dreams of all time, because I..how you say...'Have special needs.'. Yeah..<.< >.>

Hmm. I do dream a lot. In my dreams, I usually love to do a lot of running around. sometimes by flying, or running. Always seem to be running or fighting something, though I usually can't remember what. I fight a lot in dreams. come to think? A lot of thoe are borderline nightmares. but fly, definitely. And try to find stuff that seems important within the dream.

I almost never go lucid, and don't really try to anymore. I just dream, and ride with them. My main import is recalling them when I wake.

I don't think I've ever achieved full lucidity, though I'm usually aware that I'm dreaming. That counts as being semi-lucid, right? I certainly can't control my dreams except in certain circumstances, and those are rare. ^^;;

In any case, my favorite dreams are usually chase dreams that are TRYING to be nightmares. XD They have all the elements of a nightmare except for actually scaring me. Who or what is chasing me is different every time (no idea HOW I know this, I never see my pursuers), and I'm always being hunted down for one of two reasons:

1. I have an object they want or
2. there's something ABOUT me they want

For some reason, I enjoy the chase. I get a kick out of making fun of my captors; I run away, lose them for a minute, jump up and get their attention again, and repeat the process. In a few of these dreams, I've been captured multiple times and I keep breaking free, but then I'm unable to escape even if I want to. I give them a lot of hell for it, though! XD

WELL, technically, you are lucid. Fully. It's just you can't control it, that's all.

As for chase dreams, I rarely have those. They can be a bit of fun, though ! (unless you've got a decapitated Zombie with various organs missing and their eyes gouged thrown around the room chasing you >_____<! not fun.) But, the reason why the chases start are usually something similar to what you said above.

I like finding new things in my dreams like new flowers, people and places. Makes me feel like I'm in my own personal utopia. I also like to talk with people, things even and viewing nature and beautiful scenery. For some odd reason, big grassy feilds and meadows and flowers looks so much more brighter and vibrant. I love it so much

I do stupid things once I get lucid. I always end up trying "get down" with everyone and wake up. For some reason, my characters resist me. I try to tell them they're my bitch, but it doesn't work.

I don't really have lucid dreams because over 1/2 of them are about random videogames or me using the computer. I have nightmares about me accidentally deleting my uber-powerful characters on the MMORPGs I play. I also get dreams where I get my hands on a videogame I've been waiting for, but then I wake up right before I manage to play it. ;_;

...Yes, I'm that sad to have dreams based on videogames. ;/

Actually, I used to do that a lot when I was younger and had more time to play video games. XD Playing NiD a lot actually resulted in my first few "meeting NiGHTS" dreams.

I love flying in my dreams~ I do it whenever I realise I'm dreaming. I also like ninja-jumping... it's like, not quite flying but more like there's no gravity so I can jump really high and far... like they do in Crouching Tiget Hidden Dragon... that sort of thing. Jumping from trees and rooftops... sometimes that's even more fun that flying. ^^

But I also like shopping and smoking in my dreams... I dunno why but smoking in my dreams feels so glamourous~ I don't smoke in real life at all! Can't stand the stink! Plus it like, kills you... but I dream-smoke a LOT. XD Usually with a long cigarette holder wearing gloves and sitting in a cafe or just looking cool somewhere like some Audry Hepburn wannabe. X3

I love flying in my dreams. The sensation is wonderful!!! My dreams are very crazy. I dream that I am a super heroine, a student f Hogwarts, a anime character (or game character) and with my proper storys and character!!!^^
I don't like to dream "normal dreams". My "normal dreams", generally, have a link with the reality, as much the good dreams how many the nightmares, and them they really finish happening.

Ho-hum.XDDD.Well....Actually I have not mastered the art yet.Sometimes I'm in control and sometimes I'm not...TT__TT.But yeash,back to the 'what I like to do in a dream'.One,I simply love running around in a Spring Valleyish place trying to fly.I haven't actually flew..Excepting the times I was in 'another person' view.And it was really boring,cuz I just floated and could not land! >< Just how annoying is that?! And a full scale adventure was right infront of me...And yeash,meeting NiGHTS,which is very rare.Only dreamt of him thrice.Bleh....Oh and talking to the pians .It's weird,yeah,for some weird reason I know pianspeak.And it's pretty interesting on what they wanna tell ya :3 And they keep sending me on miniquests,cuz I'm too soft-hearted to turn 'em away.Usually I'm halfway to the dream item.... then I WAKE UP.

I find that in my dreams, even if it doesn't make sense for the situation or the setting, I fly. (Its one of the reasons I was drawn to NiGHTS into Dreams when I saw it) But its really more like gliding because I'm always flying along the ground, maybe three feet above it. So, even if it happens unintentionally, I still really like to do it. ^^ What bugs me the most about it, however, is that it always happens in the dreams that leave me waking up and not realizing I was dreaming. So I often wake up thinking I can just.. fly. Good thing I never flew really high. I'd be off a building.

More accurately, I saw that flying thing in the Peter Pan level of Kingdom Hearts and I was doing it ALL the time when I got it, because it was just like in my dreams, except I didn't gradually come to the ground. XD

Er, on topic though, Another thing I like to do is swim, because in my dreams for some reason I can always breathe under water. I've never had a drowning dream.
