I had a crazy dream two nights ago. I was in a kind of zephyr/hot air balloon hybrid flying over Victorian London with Jules Verne and a friend of mine when a small, elegant golden zephyr with a glass balloon (don't ask) appeared next to us. I took it, because Verne said that it was important. By this point, we were high above the clouds, heading towards a shopping mall in the sky. In this fancy, Victorian-esque glass and chrome mall was a video game store (of course  ). Inthe window was a big box (about the size of an XBox box) with a yellow to orange gradient in the background, a dark green border on the top and bottom edges, and a silhouette of NiGHTS's head and shoulders in the same green in the bottom right, which took up haf of the box. On the opposite side of the box was a red oval sticker labeled "New- 15% Off" and above it in big dark green letters in the arial font- "NiGHTS 6"! :P
I thought that that couldn't exsist, with only NiD, JoD, and possibly Christmas NiD being the only NiGHTS games, but I looked at the top of the box. Apparently, each copy of NiGHTS 6 was an expansion pack for that Kirby Game that's been delayed forever tha makes it have the graphics of past Kirby games. That made sense to me. After that. I left with mu friend to go have lunch with V from "V For Vendetta" in the mall.

So yeah. I has thinking, and there have been 6 NiGHTS games!

- NiD
- Xmas NiD
- That Billy Hatcher score attack game
- That score attack game on the JoD official site
- JoD
- The NiD remake

That makes some sense, but 6 is a very significant number in NiGHTS.

- There are 6 main levels in NiD and JoD
- 6 Nightmaren in each
- NiD came out in '96
- NiGHTS has 6 stars on his vest in JoD
- Claris has 6 sections to her fringe
- NiGHTS has 6 sections to his horns
- Wizeman has 6 horns
- Will has 6 grooves in his vest
- Wizeman has 6 hands
- JoD Reala has 6 sections to his horns
- Jackle has 6 points on his cape
- There are 6 links in Puffy's belt thing
- Owl has 6 eyebrow feathers

Most, if not all, are coincidental, but interesting nonetheless. Verne is most likely from my recently watching/reading many Verneian things, but why Kirby?

Your thoughts?

- Wizeman has 6 horns

As far as I can tell, Wizeman has 8 horns in NiD, and 9 in JoD.

It is very peculiar that that number 6 shows up a lot in the games. I was beginning to have religious thoughts about this situation, but I really doubt that it has anything to do with religion.

I am still wondering about any other connection to the NiGHTS games and the number 6.

And then I just realized, this is my 66th post on this website.

I have actually written a thesis connecting the two, but someone posted a topic ages ago with more or less the same ideas, so p'raps it's doomed to by blog, Dizzyland. :P

You're right. It was the angle of the photo I saw that made me think six. I wonder if his extra horn has something to do with him aging. Off to the new topic button!

You never know- religion can show up in the strangest places, even if it's a subconsious thing that one doesn't realise.

NiGHTS, Jackle, Elliot, Claris, and Taylor (Will's last name) all have 6 letters!

I think you forgot the NiGHTS flying game on the eyetoy.

I didn't count what I considered cameos or a small NiGHTS prescence in larger games. As such, i didn't include the eyetoy game or NiGHTS pinball in Sonic Pinball Party.

It's one of the games in SEGA Superstars, released in 2004.

Yes, on PS2, but it was released in Japan only.
