I think it would be neat if, at the character selection, you pick NiGHTS and it will show Claris and Elliot. Then you pick (for example) Elliot. and at the beginning at the race, you see Elliot Dualize with NiGHTS, therefore NiGHTS turning into the Jet, or w/e he ends up using/being.

It looks really cool in my head, lol.

I was just thinking about Christmas NiGHTS, and IF he is in the game, I think it would be so cool if on christmas day, you could play as NiGHTS in his christmas outfit. Even cooler, Reala is playable on April Fool's day.

I wonder why you want NiGHTS so badly in the racing game.XD
NiGHTs is all our favourite flying sega hero, but I have hard to imagine NiGHTS (a flying dream figure) in a small car.
Like how I wonder why Sonic need a car, he is faster then anything, is he not?
I think the game will just be like Sega Super Tennis, funny at the first 40 min.....next boring, because you are doing the same thing over and over again.
I prefer Sega super star there you can play some mini games from the original games.

The fact it's a racing game is not the point. I don't like racing games all that much because i'm crap at them. This is about NiGHTS and the future of his IP as a whole.

I'm not really willing to take the undermining of NiGHTS, his fans and publicity sitting down. If it's for NiGHTS to be gogo dancing in a steam roller for some Wii fit Daisy phahala game, i'd still yell about it because it's NiGHTS.

Well we all long to see NiGHTS more in Segas games. however...

Sega try to make a new game for NiGHTs with JOD but I heard and saw that the game faild really, really bad.
It´s most because of the story, the few enemy, the easy boss fights and more.
It was like the game was made in a half year.

So I don´t really thing the old Sega team can come up with something better for NiGHTs. I think new team have to try with a new story, maybe taking from a great NiGHTS fan or something.

But until then I think NiGHTS is dead just like Final Fantasy XIII that should be called Final Space.

Well see, its not the old team that made JoD. It was a new team. Yuji Naka had no part in making JoD, and he was one of the big geniuses behind NiD. Therefore, without the original creative genius that inspired NiGHTS, JoD was bound to be lackluster. Anyway the point is, we don't want NiGHTS to just fade into Sega's past. We want to keep him/her alive and well as much as we possibly can.

Anyways, yeh. As i've said before, i know nothing about the rest of the roster. All i know is NiGHTS ain't a playable character. 100%.

However, i do see what SEGA might be doing. They don't want to invest DLC in a game that won't sell so they need the game to sell before they give an all clear to DLC.
I reckon, if every single person who has supported this campaign goes and buys the game and we continue to show support for NiGHTS DLC then they'll do it.

I truly believe this.

Seriously, let's all buy the game when it comes out and then restate our claims for NiGHTS DLC. We can do this, people. I believe we can!

Well lets just count on the Shenmue fans to all buy the game then XD I know I'd buy it for Ryo. I'll buy a copy of this game on all systems if i have to support it.

I really think there's no chance of this game doing badly. It's Sonic, it's nostalgia, its a RACING GAME, its multi platform, it's rather badass and i can see a lot of people buying it. When the game comes out I'm gonna promote it up the wazoo in any way i can because i want it to be successful.

When I first saw TRiPPY's and DiGi's ... video cast (is that what you guys are going to call it?) I thought they where making a big deal about how the community back-lashed at them, after reading the TSSZ articles I'm a bit shocked. Alot of comments are pretty rude. I have never had much of an issue with SEGA fan sites, that I'm aware of. I can see why a site like TSSZ would want to see a source, I personally would as well, but I could tell that TRiPPY wouldn't just say stuff to say it (like me). Seems alot of readers over at TSSZ think DiGi is an idiot. Not all is lost, we at least have Billy Hatcher to look forward to.

Also, I work at SEGA Japan, actually, I work at Sonic Team, actually I'm working on NiGHTS 3. It will be based on the Fallout 3 engine and feature guns.
