does anyone have any information on them or at least wonder a bit where they are/what they're doing/how they hooked up with sonic team?

According to IMDB, Curtis King Jr. was also an ensemble voice in the animated movie "Anastasia" and he worked as a storyboard artist for "Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers." That's all the data IMDB has on him.
Dana Calitri's entry is even shorter. She was in the chorus for the Oscar-winning "Chicago" movie, but that's it.
Personally, I'd like to see a new vocal theme for JoD. I'm sure that Hayata-san can write something else that uses the familiar six-note progression, and I'd like to hear some fresh vocals for said theme.
