Well, turns out that info leak back in fall was absolutely true. Yatterman 2 revealed as the final new character.

I really raised my eyebrow when I first saw this, but now that I know what the deal is I think that's actually pretty cool of Capcom. Just throwing it in for the hell of it is appreciated and I do love me some shmups. XD

Dear god this game is addicting like crack...not that I've tried crack mind you. Seriously though, this is easily the best Wii game released since Madworld as far as I'm concerned. It's got all the spectacle and crazy action as MvC2 but I actually think it's a little easier to get into. If you have a Wii buy it now. Capcom took a gamble even releasing this in the west. I think their gamble should pay off.
