Also because that's how I ususally dream, and my head is always in the clouds- like it is now!!!

Loufren is the name of one of my little kibbun creatures in a comic I'm doing. He's a sort of spazzy, twitchy, hyper person who's also out and about and is never in one place for too long. It's a sort of special thing for me, because I like to relate to the mindset of him whenever I feel like I'm in a situation or place I'm unsure about or nervous. Hence, when I came here, I was very nervous, so Loufren popped up and I used it as a username. It's pronounced Laou-fren.

Sierra is the name that spontaneously popped into my head when I first met a certain dream denizen. Since she never tells me anything, I'll never know if she has another name or not. I used it here cuz this is the place where dreams are discussed, explored, and made.

Level 99 was the name I thought of when I first started remixing back in 2004/2005. It was more than me that wanted to get into it, but since I was the most music one of the group, I was charged with coming up with a name. Talking with a fellow gaming nerd, he pitched "why not level 99?" and I said "why not". Level 99 is the highest level you can get in a vast majority of RPGs, including Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy Tactics I believe, two games I was obsessed with at the time. So we called ourselves Level 99 remix team. Almost instantly the team dropped out and it was just me, but Level 99 stuck as it was the name I chose on the forums. I'll never get sick of the amount of wordplay people use my name for, and being constantly teased with the thought of one day leveling up to level 100. A man can dream, a man can dream...

SmashQueen was an inside joke with my cousins back when we used to play Super Smash Bros. Melee. I was Falco and I'd (usually) kick my cousins' butts with him.
Peach

Young Link
They never stood a chance, even when they ganged up on me (usually just Link and Peach doing that). We ended up coming up with a joke chart that stated who the Smash King, Smash Queen, Smash Prince, Smash Princess, Smash Joker, etc. were. There were only 2 girls and 2 boys between us four and because I surpassed my cuz MarineManiac, I was named "Smash Queen." It just stuck with me and I eventually used it at Gametalk.com, ff.net...and it spread out from there. So, no, it's not because I have an overinflated ego. It was just a fun thing that I decided to take up because it was the first and only nickname that I had ever gotten. (Well, besides the self-proclaimed -haha- "Ultimate Smasher" for being the one to get through Event 51 first, but I didn't want to take it on the road. Again, just a fun thing to use when playing SSBM or SSBB.)
Edit: Might as well say, they got so upset that they had demanded I change characters... So I rotated with Roy and Sheik. :P ...Oh, and Kirby was sometimes used against the almighty Falco. The bird kicks butt, no doubt about it.

My name on the internet has a rather odd history. I used to change names on the internet constantly, especially my name on Steam. It was pretty darn crazy. The only ones I really remember are Crystalline and Parabuzzy I used those a bit more than the other ones. While I was playing Garry's mod, I suddenly had the urge to change my nickname to "Maximum Insanity". That didn't sound very much like a name at all, so i decided to shorten it to MAXinsanity after a bit. The name stuck, as it's pretty identifiable and unique compared to the others, and doesn't sound nearly as lame/blatantly stolen.
Why the MAX in MAXinsanity is capitalized, I don't even know why I did it...

Mine's Purge, because he's awesome like that.
And it's shorter than FinalSmash or Shadow Queen.

Back when I was younger, I had several tags that didn't strike me as being very unique. I suppose when I came here, part of my subconscious felt it was time to grow up a bit. And so I chose the name 'Nyx'.
Ironically, it's been the duration of my use of this name that I've done most of my 'growing up'.
I picked 'Nyx' for several reasons -- one, it was the name I had been given in my dreams on several occasions. Two, it was the name I unofficially dubbed my subconscious/conscience, and three, I knew it translated roughly to 'Night'. I figured that was fitting for a forum about 'NiGHTS'. It was almost three months later I found out that 'Nyx' was actually the name of the Greek goddess of the night.
