Well do you??? I do every once in a while when I wanna hear the original music while playing. Also, it gives me a chance to start over and do different things to my A-Life and get different music and different mepians.

i never have, but i really want to, those pians are EVERYWHERE! i can't make a single paraloop without killing something. and they make the music different, just because they're happier! maybe i wanted to listen to the proper song, but no, they had to meddle!

Actually its not so much that they're meddling, but YOU are. You're the one interacting with them and causing them to change the music.

hmmm.....true......maybe i shouldn't be so nice to them, and then the song'll go back to normal i kid, i can't bring myself to be mean to them

Not purposefully. I've lost it a number of times by forgetting to back it up and having the battery die.
And sometimes I'll accidentally start playing with the data on a cartridge instead of the Saturn and just go with it and start from the start.
But I wouldn't want to totally delete it off my Saturn AND backup cart.

I still need to get one of those memory cards. My cousin put in a new save battery though when I got my Saturn a couple years ago.

ALWAYS in NiD.
...Of course, this is 'cause I only have the Saturn and NiD(no memory cardtridge/battery)...Meh, I suck at the game anyway...my question is WHY THE HECK DO YOU KEEP FLIPPING MULTIPLYING!? If birds were the same, we'd all be destroyed by bird poop by now...
Otherwise, I'd LOVE to have an A-Life file. In contraire to most who hatch 'em by accident, I TRY TO HATCH 'EM! *laughs insanely because by now, EVERYONE knows I'm a nutso*

I actually hatch them on purpose too. I like them.

I'd never ever delete my A-Life data! Can't stand the thought of giant walls of blazing fire, wiping out all Nightopians in all the Nightopias X___X Nah, it's just that I really like them, and I dont see any good in deleting them anyways^^

I agree with Lenneth. Nightopian apocalypse? Noooooo!!!
If you want to hear the original music, there's an option on Christmas NiGHTS, if you have it.

I still need to get that game.....

Well you don't even need Christmas NiGHTS for it, you could also listen to it in the Soundtest^^ Or get the soundtrack:3

That is very true. But another thing you lose if you delete your A Life is any mepians you may have made.

I've never really bothered to carefully cultivate my Pians in NiD to begin with. It's a sad situation where I never bought a memory cart (bad move) so I feel like my file could go Ka-BLOOEY at any time. Any developments my Pians make happen mostly by accident.

I usually do because the A-Life takes up so much memory. There's hardly any room to save things on other games. I don't want to go through the half-hour beginning story on Magic Knight Rayearth over and over just so I can play the game DX

My only saturne games are NiD, Xmas NiD, and Sonic 3D Blast, so I don't have that problem! heeheehee!

NiD is my only Saturn game so I don't have that issue.

Wait how do you delete it? I'm such a noob at NiD... XD

Saturn's system data menu?
Or the memory manager of Action Replay if you have one of those?

I do sometimes - and I do it for the sole reason of the music. I'm not much for remixes and have always preferred the originals, which is why I was very disappointed when I unlocked the so-called "original soundtrack" in JoD: Those are NOT the exact original tunes (with a few exceptions).
And I really do hope that they do not change the music or sound effects in any way, in case of a re-release for the Wii Virtual Console.

Personally, I don't think there will ever be Saturn games on VC.

There's absolutely no Saturn games on VC? I didn't notice, I was so focused on the fact that NiD wasn't on there...But yeah, you're right. That's strange. Why?
#23

Probably because the Saturn's complex hardware is infamously difficult to emulate.

Plus, Ninty seems to only care about Japan, and it seems like most good Saturn games have been ported over there.

Never have, and probably never will.

I never even realised how the A-life system saved, I've never noticed if I have it saved or if it ever got deleted...not sure if I have or haven't hatched nightopians. I know nothing about them LOL...in terms of the A-Life system, that is...

I never do, Because I love them... But I might need to because I'm still using the saturn itself to save, and the A-Life file is reeeeally big.

^That reminds me.
My A-life would always get deleted after I turned my Saturn off, but I took out the battery and now it saves every time.
My Saturn is so jacked. I don't even have a memory card for it. it's like jesus or something? lol
