i found a rather unusual glitch on JoD in the dream gate. you know how NiGHTS floats in the dream gate so you can go through the training again? well, after going through that training i reverted back to claris, only to find a second claris standing in NiGHTS' place. after training, NiGHTS disappears, but for some reason Claris was just standing there. after a few moments of running around to see if she would disappear, i jumped into the fountain, to go back to helen. once i did, however, the game crashed, with a big yellow shape obscuring the screen. has anyone else had this?

that sounds like a big glitch, haven't seen it, *never have any real big glitches on any game i have * lol, floating claris

Nope, I didn't get that glitch(because I totally SUCK at collecting DreamDrops), but when I was playing as Will, I did the tutorial to look around the Dream Gate, and after I was done, I noticed there were still loops and Blue Chips! I also was jumping near that area, and Owl appears out of NOWHERE(startling the crap outta me) and just says "Now continue flying to the right..."

Owl, you are just STUPID AS HELL.

There's a video on youtube showing 2 Helens at dreamgate, i think it's the same problem you had. Do you know how to repeat the glitch so i can try it out?

There's a video on youtube showing 2 Helens at dreamgate, i think it's the same problem you had. Do you know how to repeat the glitch so i can try it out?

the only unusual thing i did was before turning back to claris, i turned into rocket NiGHTS and boosted to the top of the screen while turning back, with the wierd sound that plays when the training is finished. i tried it again myself, but the only thing that happened was that while will was falling, his back was on fire because of rocket NiGHTS and i'll try and get the photo on here then!

I see by the green fountain water that the game engine is clearly having a breakdown as you continue to abuse it :3 Then as most assets are in memory somewhere, the Yellow Ideya decides there's an asset party going on and this happens:

Yellow Ideya: HAY GUYZ!
Game: WTF! *crash*

indeed it is i start to miss the original dream gate song from time to time, but then i remember that's what sound library is for

That's the same glitch that i saw on YouTube a while ago. However, the person only showed the glitch itself but didn't show how to get the glitch so seeing someone else perform it means it can be done.

Give it another try and see if it continues doing it time and time again. If so, i'll try and make a video of it following exactly what you did...though being honest i'm kinda busy what with everything going on lately so if somebody else would like to video record this one then feel free to do so and link it here.

hehe, that's quite the word i've tried it three times now, and still nothing. but the Wii took a tumble before it worked last time, perhaps if i threw it against the wall...?

Lol, throwing a Wii against a wall would probably give you a huge glitch - break the game!

But, no. I'll give it a few tries myself once i have time.

Run me through step by step so we all know exactly what you're doing when trying to perform this glitch and we can probably all try altering the methods about a bit to see if we can get it to work by other means.
Probably best to set out the step by step guide like this so people can follow your actions -

e.g
- i walk into a wall
- i walk through the wall
- i meet wizeman for a spot of tea
- we talk about the reccession

etcetc, you get the idea.

lol, i wonder what his views on the reccession are

-right, first thing i do is jump in the fountain of vivid rainbowness, and become claris, although i'm also trying it with elliot.
-then i speak to NiGHTS and go to the training.
-don't listen to owl at all, and press A on the wiimote fast to get him to quiet down for a minute he even tells you to paraloop nightmaren! he's telling you to kill your nightopians slyly!
-then once you're just at the end, turn into rocket NiGHTS and boost upwards, but still a bit sideways so you finish the training.
-then claris falls to her feet, not on her back, which happens sometimes
-and then if you're lucky, there's a second Claris where NiGHTS was. but DON'T jump in the fountain to make both helen and claris there, because it'll just crash i never tried going into levels, so i don't know what happens, but presumably you could do the level, but it might crash when you finish. as NiGHTS would be back in his spot but Claris would already be there and the game would go WTF! BOOM! the glitch may also work with other persona, but rocket NiGHTS is the fastest by far, so maybe not

edit: well, after at least fifteen tries, still nothing. and i officially despise owl now! after reading him say the same things again and again......the birdy bas**** should keep his beak shut so i can rush through that damn training!

Ok, thanks for the instructions.

Anybody else who is interested in performing this glitch, follow that list and try and mix it up a bit by doing slightly different things to see if we get any results. The more people we have trying this the better.
I'll try and get on this later and give it a go.

while going through the training (yet again! ) i noticed that if you turn into dragon NiGHTS right before owl stops you to speak to you, once he starts speaking to you, you're in a big spazzy heap
and also, Dragon NiGHTS' neck often contorts if owl stops you to speak
plus, owl has started to skip the first part, when you just have to move to the right no skin off my nose, but i wonder if my game is slowly dying
