Anyone here in th UK planning on attending SoS 09 in London this year? DiGi and I will def be there (work permitting).

Did any of you lot attend the last one?

This year SEGA will have more in a hand of helping out i hear, so I'm pretty excited about actualy getting to go this time. I remember when i was a kid and I'd read Fleetway STC... they always had a yearly Sonic The Comic meet at the Bristol comic con where the creators would draw and sign stuff, etc etc. But at the time i was too young to travel by myself. In 2003 i got to go to Bristol to meet Richard Elson and Nigel Kitching (both top blokes) but this was after STC had bit the dust unfortunately.

The fact there's a proper Sonic/SEGA convention now makes me very happy and I'd like to see a lot of you support it if you get the chance.

It's times like this I wish I was Tony Stark rich and could travel anywhere in the world anytime I wanted. I likely can't go (if they have another), but I'm keeping an eye on this anyway.

On an unrelated note, on that dark side promotional poster, Rouge totally looks like she's wearing Crimson Viper's outfit.

Yeah... if travel were free (or i was insanely rich) i would travel to all conventions and meet ups just for the hell of it. It's a shame that the UK is so small because if i were American (and lived there) then an actual decent sized meet for this community might be possible :lol:
I should mail people paper boats to paddle across the ocean in XD

I'd really like to help out with art for the gallery wall and stuff this year. I aint drawn Sonic in *tries to count and fails* a long time...

Might go to this one as i did think about going to last years one but decided not to but looking at the vids on youtube i wish i had. I'll see if i can go this time around.

Man, that looks so fun. You people over in the UK are extremely lucky. The best I've got around here is Naka-con, and I've only been once (last year). Nothing stops in Kansas... (cries quietly in corner...)
Anyway, if you guys get to go, take lots of pics (embarrassing ones, especially!), and post 'em or something. I'd love to see it.

Aaaah, someone was telling me about this at the London Expo - I almost choked on my Pocky when he said Nigel Kitching was there...

I'd like to come certainly, but as always, work permitting... money and timing too. Any idea when it'll actually be? Around the same time as the last one - August-ish? Hrmmmm... it's inviting.

Hello all. Did you miss me? I've been gone with evil school for about ever. Anyway, I found this topic and decided to lament my horrid luck. As you all know, the economy in the U.S. has sunk to the point where even exploding clown cars on fire cannot cheer us up. Therefore, I have no money at ALL in order to go to any sort of conventions, ever, in a million years. I am sad. Someone videotape the convention and send it to me, and in return I will send you two dimes, a quarter from Canada, and about five dollars' worth of various lotions and ointments.
