I know nobody sticks to them and last year for me was a pretty mixed bag of awesome and terrible. I think this year I'll try to work faster on the comic, lose 2 dress sizes, eat more new types of food and try to be a bit more confident in things i do.
My resolution is that next year shall be AMAZING and to hell with anything that tries to make it otherwise.
I can't believe it's nearly 10 years past the millenium! These 10 years have went so so so quickly @_@

I need to complete a majority of my unplayed backlog of games before I finish college. I can only assume I'll have less free time in the "real world". God I hate that phrase.

I haven't made a lot in the past but I have two this year. One is a secret for now, the other is to finish at least one draft of a book I eventually want to start sending to publishers. If I work REALLY hard I can finalize it before the year is up -
Man I hope 2009 is better than 2008 x_x What an unlucky year for me.

To get a job but hell that's my resolution every year.

I don't make resolutions unless I am sure I can keep them. But I'm pretty satisfied with my lifestyle. BUT I would like to try eating kishka, scrapple, and headcheese. But those all depend on finding a suitably weird/old-fashioned butcher so it will probably not happen.
Also I would like to get a job in a library and go to grad school. But those depend on other circumstances beyond my control!
So no formal new year's resolutions for me.
We apparently have similar habits. Note that I graduated last summer and still have a mountain of games left. (Oddly enough though I would rarely play video games while at school but play a lot otherwise *shrugs*) Good luck!

I resolve to finnally write my stupid script...I have like, 15 people lined up to be in my film, and they all ask EVERY FREAKING DAY "when are you gonna filllllllmmmmmm?" It's a homage to Drive-Ins/ Grindhouses, and is set as a double feature. My half, "Night of the Attack of the 50-foot Atomic Penguins from Outer Space" is an Ed Wood-style parody of/homage to 50s B-Movies. It's been cast, I've got intermission planned, and my friend is working on her half, an zombie-sploitation flick, while I sit at the computer watching old film trailers. So, before 2009 ends, I shall get off my lazy rear and write. I *could* do intermission now...

Last year I went with an easier resolution- not to eat McDonalds for an entire year, and I'm pleased to say that I did it! (It was mainly becase it was draining my bank account D:)
This year, I'm going to lose 16kg, not be late to things, have two issues of my comic done, get 4 distinctions in my last semester at uni, and have a job in the games industry by the end of the year.
Hm, that's a lot, really.

1. To try to be more enthusiastic in math class and other things I find boring.
2. To work this summer.
3. To actually finish writing something, whether it be a few short stories or a novel.
4. To break my over-craving for sweets, esp. chocolate.
The chocolate one's gonna be hard....

Here are my New Year's resolutions (well, the ones I intend not to break):
1. Work on my comics and draw more
2. Focus more on my school work
3. Beat Ocarina of Time even if it kills me (like that'll happen... cursed Water Temple)
4. Exercise more
5. Become a better person (a never-ending struggle)
Oh yeah, congratulations on completing your resolution, Nocturne Wonderland

My resolutions:
1. Get involved here. ^^
2. Keep tighter tabs on my savings. Unfortunately, there's a lot of anime cons that aren't too far away from where I am... ^^'
3. Improve my art. It's good, I guess, but nowhere near great.
4. Cosplay more. I really like doing it and all, but it takes so much time!
5. Exercise more. Well, rather, find a fun way to do it at home. (Let's just say our treadmill is really crummy.)
6. Finish the novel I began in November. And ship it off!

So far I'm actually sticking to my resolution, 4 days into my Tabata excercises and strict diet. I already feel healthier and less sore. I'm taking this disturbingly serious for once and dont crave chocolate in the slightest. Now lets hope it all pays off XD

Lots of good luck to you, TRiP!

Good luck on your cosplay! I'd be interested in seeing it when it's done. ^^
I'm trying to get three accomplished right now- one for myself, one for my little sis, and one for my Dad (who surprisingly, agreed to it! Mum thought he was crazy for saying so, though. XD) Gotta have it done by Valentine's day... eep.

Gogo TRiPPY!! 8D
I'm kinda coming up with these on the spot, so they're not really all that solid. XPPP
1. Get a job.
2. Exercise and get outside more.
3. Kick my internet addiction (I've found myself surfing aimlessly before; I've been gradually getting better about it, but it's still sucking time away from other things I'd like to do).
4. Finish at least the rough draft of my novel.
5. Draw more often.
6. Be more social.
7. Go to NekoCon.

I never make those, haha. Maybe I should finally learn to drive this year, I keep putting it off...
And yeah, those years have gone by pretty quickly. I remember reading little mini-magazines about 9/11 in elementary school.
