I'm trying to determine what made people buy or just even experience the original game. What external factors helped make it a successful Saturn title? The data I get from this is probably going to be flawed as I'm asking a NiGHTS-specific fanbase to fill it out, but it should prove interesting nonetheless. I'm hoping it'll also give us insight into why JoD was such a flop.

I put "Yes, but never played" because I had JoD but I haven't touched it since at least January >_>. 10 months and not touched it once. It's sorta a painful game for me to play because me and my ex- argued about it a lot ;_;.

So far I'm not really getting any idea as to what drove sales back the mid-90s since most of the respondents didn't own a Saturn or the game back then, but there's some other interesting trends you can see. For instance, the number one reason most of you have played NiD is because you played JoD!
