I am simply amazed that I am not alone up here in the freezing north. I did NOT do this. Taken at the uni dining hall like 800 feet from my dorm.

The design is so well done, it's so well balanced...

The Teeth are nothing short of perfectly sculpted!
In fact I'm abit suspicious as to whether or not his teeth are real (animal teeth)...
I deserved nothing short of 1st in that carving contest of yours...
But it pains me to think of how it will rot away and end up in the dump ;_( not fair...

..It's a jack-o-lantern. Painting it ruins the purpose.Lol, that makes my NiGHTS pumpkin even look worse

Yeah, jack-o-lanterns are supposed to glow through the design, whether you simply cut the shapes out all the way through or carve it in such a manner that the glow goes through the pumpkin, which is what's going on here.
And on that note, utterly amazing job! 8D I wish there were a picture of this one lighted up in the dark; that's when you can really appreciate the effect carving it like that causes.
