I just saw a teaser ad in G4 about the coming E3 in '07. Assuming that the Expo comes in May, it would just be around the corner.

Knowing what that must mean, NiGHTS: JoD is also going be amongst the linup of coming games in the Expo. Good news, right?

EDIT: Actually, E3 is coming July. My bad.

Arrrggh - its sooo long away! To be honest now that we've all seen the first pictures - I am itching to see the game running - lets all cross fingers for a video/rolling demo soon!

E3 is sadly a crappy shadow of its former self. no more big budget insanity. just a bunch of tiny booths and some press conferences. Not even worth watching anymore.

No, what's been cut back is the public involvement. You still get the silly big press conferences (which were the only interesting bits anyway) and a smaller location to accomodate the fact there's much less guests. People are making a fuss over nothing.

As for E3? It's a dead cert.

Guess we'll all be watching the online feed again this year.

Oddly enough Sega are apparently planning a European gaming thing like E3 for this year, me and the DiG' are definately going if it happens.

Yup. www.seganerds.com reported that SEGA and THQ are coming together AND inviting other game companies to join in to hold some E3 style event in Europe. Hmm...let me get the link to the article, hold on...

You me and Phage in irc last year ranting about the Nintendo press conference as it happened was insane fun.
