So! Each one of us is ourselves, right? But we can all relate to someone in one way or another.

Which NiGHTS character do you relate to the most?


I think I'm alot like NiGHTS. In a way that I don't liek to be held down by rules, and I like to do things my own ways. Plus I'm adventurous. Like how I go off into the city at nights and walk around, or when I go venture off away from my friends and see what's out there. Plus, I hate being captured, aka sent to my room, or detention D:

I actually relate to Reala a lot, but that's only because I view his loyalty to Wizeman as unquestioning loyalty to a parental figure, something I had for quite some time. Recently, though, I've stopped that; it started getting very painful, especially when the parental figure in question began to stop believing in my loyalty, or even my having good intentions.

Yes, apologies for pouring a bit of my heart out on the internet, but Reala's own steadfast loyalty to Wizeman really strikes a sympathetic chord with me in that respect. Granted, I know I'm likely wrong about his reasons for being loyal to Wizeman, but that's how I interpret it, personally.

That's a hard one...I'd say it's a tie between NiGHTS and Will. I get very irritated and/or depressed when I feel my rights or freedom are restricted in any way, like NiGHTS. I tend to hold grudges from that. I'm also stubborn, and a little mischievous/playful. I like having fun and little thrills, like roller-coasters. I love feeling the wind in my face and hair.

I identify with Will more than I expected. My dad has been going on business trips for as long as I can remember. A couple times he was away for three months strait for special classes. Now he has a new job, but he's still on business trips half the time. When I was little I reacted to it like Will, even having nightmares about not being able to find him or him dying far away from home. Of course, now it's gotten to the point where Dad'll say, "I'm going to be away for about four days," and I'll be like, "Sure, whatever."

I guess I'd be mostly like NiGHTS because of my playfullness (and it would be awesome to fly around like that!) And maybe a little bit of Helen, because of her beginning cutscene! Eating ice cream with friends=the perfect day for me!

In regard to my loyalty to those who have proven themselves worthy of being superiors, I am more like Reala.

However, in regard to my efforts to not be one of the crowd and making a conscious effort to not conform, I am more like NiGHTS.

Geez... toughy... there are not alot of characters you can relate to in NiD seeing as only a few have different personalities...
I'll say NiGHTS... although I'm only simaler in the fact that I'm an oddity in my social structure, I don't like or act like most ppl in daily life or personal life... (example I don't look up to celebs, I could not name a single one of todays current bands, I'm insane, and I hate chocolate *just to name a few *) I am also playful and understanding twords others... although other than that I am completely different...

I'd defintly say Helen. I don't play the violen (clarinet) but I do kinda act like her when I don't realize it. she also LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE ME. (And her mom looks like my mom..... )

Helen here also. Trying to balance friends and family occurs a lot in my day to day life. I even played the violin at one point. (I hated it, though.) She some times acts like my mom, which is REALLY unnerving. o____O

I would say I relate to Jackle the most. I like to be more in the shadows and throw stuff at people, especially cards. XP I also always have that kind of grin he does on my face.

Same here with Helen, I too used to play the violin (started in 4th grade up to 7th then took a beak from it in 8th to 10th grade) and I still do sometimes, I'm in the middle of NiGHTS and Reala. starting with NiGHTS: I hate being contained for too long, I sometimes break rules, i'm pretty understanding and i hate being restrained. Now for Reala, I'm loyal to any authority figure and I follow orders (if their reasonable)

Reala, definately. Undyingly loyal to and defensive of those who have proven themselves worthy of it, and those who betray me become eternal enemies. Also very good at hiding my true intent/emotions, and am very disappointed in myself when I fail others.

I'm like NiGHTS... mostly. I'm like him in the fact that I'm a bit different than most of my peers. I don't fit within one defined group. But I'm able to have fun in my difference.

I'm a bit like Reala in the fact I'm fiercely loyal to certain people, and I'm VERY opinionated. I tend to take sides very easily as well.

This is really a tough one...

I guess I would have to say Elliot from NiD, since failure seems to have a tremendous effect on us both. The major difference is that he seems more of a social guy while I'm kind of a loner.

Seems NiGHTS as a character has affected us all in our personalities and beliefs/likes and dislikes. Not a surprise, really. Being here in and of itself is a testament to the game's profound effect, even after what, 12 years? It's something we get to have with us forever through our personalities and actions.

Personally, I too relate to NiGHTS the most. I get bored with routine fast :/ and make it my goal to be different as possible! I also love DDR- moving gracefully to a fast tempo really gets me amped. IDK, that seems NiGHTS-like. In a way. Sorta.

I think I'm a mix between NiGHTS and Reala.

I tend to rebel and do as I please. In fact, my father kicked me out of the house a few years ago. Since then I've been living on my own in an apartment.

As for the other part of my personality I'm compeitive and I get jealous easily.

This is what I love about this site. It gets me into deep thinker mode. Getting on topic, though...

When it comes to the kids, I feel I can relate to Claris most. Actually, she's practically the ONLY one of the Dreamers I feel I can relate to at all. We're both singers, we both get audition fright (NOT stage fright, there's one heck of a difference; she seemed to be just fine with performance, and I get nervous as heck when I go in to audition), trying to be the best wecan be, and Claris also strikes me as being a second Soprano (but then again, she didn't get much of a range to show off in her little audition skit) but most likely can reach first Soprano notes if she tried (I, myself, have a huge range).

On the Night Dimension side, I feel like I can relate to NiGHTS, Reala, and Jackle equally.

With NiGHTS, I hate having my freedom restricted, I'm pretty friendly (but also a bit secretive), and I also speak out when I feel like I'm having my freedom and personality jeopardized. Even when it comes to the authority figures that I'm normally respective of.

Comparing myself to Reala, I'm pretty loyal (using my parents as my 'Wizeman,' in a sense, but they sure aren't evil), I'm firm when it comes to trying to get my other sibling to do what I feel is right and stick with the family (what little good that does), and I can be manipulative if I want to.

When it comes to Jackle, I'm a bit on the nutso side (more so than most), I'm rather playful with people (but not so much that they're uncomfortable), and don't get me started on how much I scare people. I can do so without even trying at my school. And that's without the laugh that gets my friends scared.

I'd have to say NiGHTS or Elliot. I can't stand being confined and restricted. I have a very free-spirited attitude, and have a tendency to disobey the rules. Plus ever since I was little I've always wanted to fly.

Elliot because he seems a little insecure about himself, and I get the vibe that he just wants to be accepted by his peers. I have a lot of insecurity issues, and am constantly thinking about how other people perceive me. Also I used to play basketball. XD

It's typical for a fangirly fangirl like me, but I have to say Reala, even though I realize that there's NOTHING in canon that says he feels anything like this... I've been betrayed by friends/partners/people close to me, and it's left me a little bit cold and bitter to people in my life. I'm trying to work through that though.

Plus, I like following orders. At least in a work kind of situation. I wouldn't like a job that gave me a lot of freedom. I would get anxious and be like, "someone please tell me what to do!!" ^^;

As for the human characters, I'd say...Claris. Audition fright sucks. And I know exactly how that works! Large audiences don't scare me--it's knowing that someone is sitting there actually JUDGING me.

Reala with a splash of NiGHTS. I say Reala because because of loyalty with a mean streak. How loyal? I babysit for my Sis several nights a week and then go to work on 3 hours of sleep. 'Cuz she needs me, nuff said. As for my mean streak, well...after being forced to work 30 mins over tonight I spent several minutes staring at a large insect wondering if putting it in my bimbo bosses' hair it would be worth possibly getting bitten by it. I say NiGHTS because we both have people wondering what gender we are. Is short hair and a mostly flat chest a crime?!? ;.;

Probably Reala. I'm not as cruel as him of course, but then again who decided that he was cruel? Who decided that he hated NiGHTS, scared Dreamers for fun, and ate pians for breakest? We did, kind of.

I'm also not fond of big changes. Reala would rather stay loyal to Wizeman than be free like NiGHTS because in NiGHTS' world, everything is changing. I'd rather be safe and secure then falling all over the place.

The last part is that Reala, like me, is usally shown as being rather serious. Heck, if he starting acting like NiGHTS you'd wonder what was wrong with him. I can laugh hysterically when I find something funny, so I do have a healthly sense of humor, but sometimes (like if my brother is fooling around like a nut) I will get agitated at him.

Geez, even talking about Reala makes me act more like him.
