Its disturbing how often I've been myself but a guy in my dreams. My mind just completely accepts that I'm male and that it's always been the case.

I tend to be random book/movie characters, but I keep being Sid Vicious. And it's boring. I'm the most interesting person doing the most mundane things. Dx

Once upon I time I dreamt I was Saria from Zelda OoT, floating around the Forest Temple and generally helping Link with my sparkly powers >w> The amazing thing is that it felt more real than any other dream I've had...Though it was during an operation in the hospital, after consuming some laughing gas... XD Drug-induced dreams are vivid~
When I woke up I was pretty incoherent, too XD

Well...I'm usually myself, but there was one time I think I was Klonoa...Adventuring around the forests in Phantomile, when he suddenly caught a headache, and saw me in a vision...
Why would he-*Gasp*...Is this what it's like to be Roxas?
And sometimes I would be with Klonoa. I also researched dreaming about certain characters. It can mean you have some of that persons traits. I must have his curiosity.

I'm not too sure, even when I'm a character in them, my dreams are normally shown from a third person point-of-view

Recently I was a male magician. Black suit, top hat and everything. Except this magician could do actual magic. What surprises me about this is that, unlike most of my other dream personas, his personality differed significantly from my conscious one. He was a smooth talker and excuse-maker. He kind of goes hum-de-dum about his days, except in my dream, there was a witch after him/me. I first learned about this when a guy friend/acquaintance of mine/magician's warned me she was after me to perform some ritual for the Winter Solstice, and she was angry I'd been dodging her. The guy was like "She's gonna kill you, man." Eventually I ended up accidentally face-to-face with the witch, and she started saying "What took you so long?" I made up an excuse, said I had come like she wanted but was delayed because of other important matters (I hadn't intended to go to her at all). She calmed and bought it so easily. When she was talking to me after that, the way her face and body movement were--flirtatious--I could tell she liked the magician. I was like O.O oh crud. Does she even know he's a she in real life? We completed the solstice ritual, and then I woke up when she was putting the moves on me. O.o Just a little creepy.

I'm almost always myself, but in different roles, worlds, and positions.
Sometimes the worlds are completely different, but mimicking things I face here. Other times... I was once a member of SeeD and we were going to take down a herd of rabid Rapidash. No, really.

Epic Necrothreadin' Bump!
Whenever I dream, I am always myself, but my Dream Memory (as I call it, which is the memories that I have of the version of myself that I am inside of the dream) different with every dream. I also have never had the same dream twice excepting for two dreams where I encountered NiGHTS. The first one, I merged with him, but in the repeat dream, I couldn't for some reason.
I've been in all sorts of roles as well, but two constant themes remain the same: I am either going after something or I am running from something. Never anything else.

mostly i'm myself. But once I was Gregor (from The Underland Chronicles) and another time I was Percy Jackson. But it doesn't happen often.
