ANYWAYS

So...if the Pokemon world met the NiGHTS world...what do you think would happen? There's been a recent Pokemon that can create nightmares (which inspired me to ask this kind of question....), named Darkrai.
What do you think would happen?

Cresselia and Darkrai would not be happy because other dream creatures would be interfering with their control. Darkrai and Wizeman would not get along. :) Cresselia would have some company for once with the Nightopians, but she would have more adversaries due to the Nightmarens (minus NiGHTS, he'd help counter them).

Hmm. Thoughts of Reala vs. Darkrai are running through my mind right now. Hehe. And/or Wizeman himself taking on Cresselia. Fun-to-watch fights all around.

And then flying competitions with NiGHTS vs. Pidgeot, Swellow, or maybe even Lugia. (hey, you said Pokemon, you never specified which ones XD)

I write poetry and lyrics (although they're not very good T__T) and comedy movies. I love the Dreamcast podcast that DiGi and TRiPPY put on. I also enjoy thinking outside the box. I'm what is known as a Meathead. I can laugh at myself, think outside the box, and smile. Meatheads are smarter than your average Joe, with much more common sense and the rare ability to find creative solutions to problems. My idol is a man named Jimmy Dolittle. Look him up ^.~
I'm thinking Darkrai and Reala team up and kick some major dream booty. Awwww yeah.

Don't most Ghost Pokemon create Nightmares with the attack "Nightmare"? Its not just Darkrai.

I am sure that Wizeman and the other marens have seen far more bizzare and annoying things in dreams besides Pokemon. (In fact they probably saw a few Pokemon if people dreamed about them.) Either way, I don't see much happening....

As far as I can remember, the move is Dream Eater, not Nightmare.

As far as I can remember, the move is Dream Eater, not Nightmare.

Dream Eater is a different move from Nightmare. Dream eater absorbs health from the other pokemon while it is sleeping. Nightmare just inflicts damage on a sleeping Pokemon and runs a high risk of waking it up. (Or at least that is what I noticed. I never see a Pokemon stay asleep after that attack.)

Lawl, yea there might be a possibility of a 3rd hybrid, but that only happens when a Nightopian and a Nightmaren, two Nightopians, or (possibly) two Nightmarens accidentally bumping into each other.
But, like I said, it could be a possibility :P

It cannot learn all the pokemon moves, in theory, like Mew can. Mew can, in theory, learn every pokemon move to be learned. That being said, so can Smeargle, using it's Sketch attack to copy a move permanently. -is an uber-pokemon nerd- ...I'll shuddup now.

Loufren and I have been discussing what Pokemon NiGHTS would be over in the Random Thought thread-

I had a random thought at lunch wondering what would happen if NiGHTS was turned into pokemon... -can really imagine NiGHTS as a butterfree-

I see NiGHTS more as a Beautifly. They're cuter than Butterfrees. :P

NiGHTS STABS his mouth into peoples innards and drains them dry? Because that's what Beautiflies do. And Butterfree more fits NiGHTS colorscheme I think.

NiGHTS has a creepy nose and fangs? :P

Honestly, you're right about the colour scheme. I just think that NiGHTS is more dainty than he is like an insect.

Hmm, true. A friend compared NiGHTS to a Celebi, though... I think it sorta fits... -ponder=

Celebi is good, but I noticed a lot of similarities with Mew.

- Both have no gender.
- Both have an evil counterpart with a deep voice.
- Both are lighthearted and playful.
- Both are kind and gentle, but resort to magic if threatened.
- Both can change their appearence.
- NiGHTS is purple, and purple is the colour associated with the psychic Pokemon type.

I might think of more later. Off to ponder!

ALSO. Both can fly. Mew fits... but if NiGHTS is Mew, then what is Reala? Mewtwo? -shudders at that thought, it's unflattering for Reala-

Going by personality, role, and behaviour, ReeRee is Mewtwo. It's more flattering than bat tights! :lol:

Does anyone wish to add to the debate?
