Simple question.
What was your favourite part of the game? It could be a scene, a tune, a character. Anything. What was your ONE defining cool point of JoD?
Mines would probably be fighting against Wizeman. That was all kinds of epic and i thought it was better than the same scene in NiD. Everything about it was great to me.

What was the highlight of JoD for you?

My favorite part of JoD was the Sky Concert level. It was the funnest level ever, although I wonder how NiGHTS feels about bopping giant metal music notes with his head. He must have some Motrin in his back pocket or something.

Wizeman 2.0's a good choice.. if not Bellbridge.. Sky Concert was pretty clever, I love the Nightopians singing with you. erm, the fmv is still all kinds of wow to me, and I wish so bad that the cut scenes and such were like that because that would have made the game just feel much more whole, and something to be proud of. For me starting JoD in itself was kind of epic, though I'm sure it's like that for nearly everyone here. I found my Wii that day (Dec. 19th) in a flurry of crazy, and that night we went to a friend's party (so it was a great thing that I found the Wii, otherwise I would not have been a very good guest, as we were going to that party anyway), and the entire time I knew I had JoD waiting for me at home. We got home at 3 in the morning and I unboxed the Wii, shaking slightly knowing why I was doing it.. then I started up Will's story.. epic night was epic.
Basically, for me JoD had a sprinkling throughout the game of 'wow' moments combined with the other stuff we wish was different. Again, it'll always be that thing that the game was never truly finished to begin with.

The Reala fight (Even thought it was totally different from the fight with him in NiD) And the dialog between NiGHTS and Reala

I love the Sky Concert! I am a musician (a mediocre High School band musician, BUT A MUSICIAN) so I really enjoy the way that NiGHTS's flight is used to create the melody of Dreams Dreams. I love when music and actions are combined, such as gameplay in video games and fighting or other intense moments in movies (guess how I feel about games like DDR or Samba de Amigo...).

Hmmmm...I would have to say the two fights with Reala

NiGHTS himself to be honest...he just captured my interests abnormally fast.

the Sky concert frustrated me at first but after a few tries i got it and loved it
thanks to NiGHTS the empty hole in my heart has been filled, since FF and KH made that
hole but then NiGHTS filled it.

I absolutely love the music! Every time I play I can't help but smile and hum along to the tunes.

I second charlie on this one' - it's the music of course' those flying gameplay stages - scratch that- the whole game won't feel 'dreamy' without it now, will it?

Ah, it's hard to choose a favorite part, there are so many things I like in this game...
But I would say the best part was the music. It's wonderful. I even bought the OST.

I really liked the fight with Queen Bella. It reminds me of that game where you have to bounce balls into walls to destroy them.

Sky concert was a blast although it was hard to accomplish, Wizeman fight probably thhe only time you use the persona masks in the game, and Crusing together Is probably my favorite song.

Hard to choose. I'd have to say Queen Bella and the fact that Wizeman was so frickin scary. I didn't realize just how frightening Wizeman could be until I played this. Other things would be the music and how lively NiGHTS was. Pretty much everything was said already. XD

I really enjoyed JOD all together (yes even the platforming levels you all so hate) but my favorite part hmm... I would have to say the sky concert level or the chase levels. I also liked the idea behind dream drops (I'm a collector )
God how could I forget the epic music as well.

Ditto. I love the music to the game. I hum and sing JoD music all the time, that or Genki Rockets.I absolutely love the music! Every time I play I can't help but smile and hum along to the tunes.
To be honest, I had been wishing for this game since I first laid eyes on NiGHTS. (Which was in 2000 in when I first played Sonic Adventure) I was trying so hard to hunt down a Saturn and a NiD copy. My search was fruitless. Then I heard the rumor that they were remaking it for the GC, but that never happened. I was a little discouraged. When I found out that they were releasing JoD, my husband was working at Gamestop at the time and he told me it was coming out for the Wii for the 2007 holiday Season. I told him that I HAD to have it, but even so, I wasn't able to get my hands on it til last May. So I guess my highlight was just simply getting my hands on an actual NiGHTS game.

The first time I played Crystal Castle's chase mission I thought, "Wow. This is going to be my favorite stage." The dreamy music, the beautiful landscape, and the cool light diffraction tricks combined to make something very impressive. Bellbridge was a blast! I couldn't believe how much fun I had with it! Of course, I can't play it all the time because it takes about 20 minutes to go through the chase mission + Reala + Wizeman, not to mention the cutscenes and credits.

the music was probably my second favorite soundtrack this Gen. The only game with a more fun and beautiful soundtrack is Mario Galaxy, and only barely. My personal favorite moment is probably Bellbridge. Its so gorgeous, so memorable, and now I can say for certain it is actually BETTER than the original TwinSeeds level. If there was one thing Sega needed to get right it was the flying levels, and thats exactly where NJOD delivered. In spades. Another great stage was sky concert, althougH I am terrible at it.

For me the highlight was definitely the Queen Bella fight. It was my favorite boss fight and the music was my favorite new tune in the game. So jazzy.

Bellbridge Lap 3. Brings a tear to my eye of happiness everytime, EVERY-TIME!!!

I would say that very first chase mission in Will's Dream. I was so happy, after 11 years NiGHTS was finally back adding to that the stage was just perfect and caped off with the first fight with Don Balon and the memories just came flying back from the first time I played NiGHTS into Dreams.

The one highlight? Hm, I have to say the intro. The animation and the music are lovely.

I didn't enjoy this new installment as much as I thought I would but I can say the music was the highlight for me. I stopped playing at Delight City because I started to get annoyed by some of the not chase/link missions but I do have JoD music and I love it. SEGA always makes awesome tracks.

That's a toughie between two parts.
One was Wizeman's line "Fools like you are beyond hope." at the end. I thought it was funny and pompus, and slightly ironic.
The other was the part at the begining of Helen's game where Reala just slams NiGHTS up against the door to the aquatic level (can't think of the name right now...) I'm more of a Reala fan, and that was the first time I'd ever seen him in the game.

Just getting the chance to play something based on the purple jester... but if I had to pick a moment...
either sky concert (did that one over and over)
or when part 2 of Bellbridge kicked in!

wow.... um, I'd have to say the scene when Helen found out NiGHTS was a nightmaren. Reala's diolouge literally sent chills up my spine.
also the very fact that this was my very first NiGHTS game

When Helen falls and Will comes to the rescue at Bellbridge and catches her. The track "Cruising Together" is awesome, I've got that song on my Zune.

I love the second Bellbridge song! Something about the voices coming in partway through makes me feel this unbelievable amount of umm...joy.

All of JoD was a highlight!
The best part for me, though, was picking helen and flying around in Aqua Garden. After watching that level religiously on YouTube, it was great seeing it in person. Same with Donbalon.

Bellbridge music and the entire stage in general.
Tomoko Sasaki and Naofumi Hataya are THE Sega music composers. There is no arguement.

My favorite part of the game was how NiGHTS bonded with both dreamers. He was there for them. Will and helen couldn't have got their ideya back.Without the help of NiGHTS defeating the nightmaren they would have been in trouble because personally I don't think a human can go to nightmares without the escort of a nightmaren so it would have been difficult getting the ideya back. So my favorite part is how NiGHTS and both dreamers bonded with NiGHTS. IT makes me want the same thing happen to me.

For me, it's probably the music, and, like Andersam, the parts when Helen and Will found out that NiGHTS was a Nightmaren.
Oh, and also the Cerberus and Wizeman boss battles. Wizeman had some awesome dialouge.

I really love all the music including the last levels.
The epic moment for me, The final battle of Reala "I'll Deliver your heads to Master Wizeman myself!" >w<

I personally loved the whole game! But my favorite JoD moment was at the end of the credits that roll after you finish your final showdown with Wizeman. I at first thought that NiGHTS might have been gone for good when I compleatly finished the game (except for the dreamdrops)but the ending of JoD just like the ending of NiD gave you the indication that he/she would be back! That and the version of Dream Dreams that plays during those credits are number one in my book.

Best thing about the game is the sound track, without a doubt. It's the only thing that, in my opinion, lives up the original.

Missions. They give you something extra when time-attacking isn't enough. Kinda' wish you could do them after beating the basic game then go back and do them for the alternate ending, but eh. Still pretty interesting.
