Has anyone ever seen this movie? The 2004 version, I mean. I would like to know if, one, anyone's seen it, two, if anyone liked it, and three, if there's some website out there that has the whole movie uninterrupted because I want to see it and I'm too lazy to go out and buy the DVD. But if it comes to that, I will. Hmph.

Yeah I saw that version, cause my mom & dad are POTO fans and wanted me to watch the movie with them. It was my first time seeing the story in any way and I gotta saw it was real cool. There were some nice effects and such, great singing, and emotionalness. My parents {who've seen the live play a few times} said it was pretty faithful to the original version, even though there were some differences they still liked it. So I'd suggest buying it or finding it on that torrent you're looking for, but I dunno where to find it so...good luck?

I found it. I love it. Let's discuss it, shall we?

Personally, I find Gerard Butler to be the sexiest Phantom on the face of the Earth, even without his mask.

I know what you mean. Even though I haven't seen any other versions of the play/movie, when he got his mask taken off near the end both me and my mum were like "Oh that's not that bad!" {refering to deformities}

You should watch some of the songs on youtube, in italian. It's like, one of the best languages for those songs to be sung in. <3

I always liked the Swedish version from... yikes, late 80's? *feels old* Anyway, that version of the Phantom could really sing with emotion O_O

Personally, I find Gerard Butler to be the sexiest Phantom on the face of the Earth, even without his mask.

Which I always found a bit funny since... well, lemme quote from the Movies in Fifteen Minutes parody:

Wherever It Is That the Dancers Hang Out

BUQUET THE STAGEHAND: …And in the book, he’s got a hole where his nose ought to be, and his hands are cold and he’s like a cadaver all over!

SOME DANCER: But what about in the movie?

BUQUET: In the movie? He’s got a terrible… third degree… SUNBURN!

THE DANCERS: *scream and faint dead away*

I recommend reading the whole thing if you're a fan, Cleolinda's a good writer.

I saw the whole "15 Minutes" parody on Youtube. It inspired me to buy the real thing XD

I wish I knew other languages, but I don't and therefore I have no idea what the Swedish version of the Phantom sounds like. All I know is what the English version sounds like and possibly the French version since I have that on my DVD and can use English subtitles. I just haven't used it yet. XD

I have not seen 2004 version but I have seen the silent version. I enjoyed it very much!

I even got to see a screening in a theater with a live organ player. This was awesome.

The book is a pile of crap, even the people who wrote the play will recognize that.

I would say it was a pretty good movie, and I really liked his mask. The only thing I didn't really like was how he had normal hair until his mask was taken off, then it look liked he had extremely thin hair and it changed colours. That really urks me every time I see it.

I noticed that too. It bugged the hell out of me. It was like "DUDE! Your hair was just black a second ago! What happened?!"

He was wearing a wig. You see him adjusting it in his lair earlier in the movie. When Christine rips the mask off you also see the wig fly off if you watch closely.
