He's a great artist but have you seen the cover for issue 200? It's pretty crapI used to read the comics religiously when I was a kid. I think it got bad after issue 50 when they decided to kill off Eggman.
I still adore Patrick "Spaz"'s artwork.

I hope Spaz does the regular covers again; his talent was being wasted with Sonic X (they were the best part of the series). I have no idea what Sonic Universe will be like but I've already ordered a subscription because I must have the COMPLEATE COLLEXION!

In issue 200, Eggman Prime might return. At least that just what I think.

Although it IS a step down from 175. Not one of Spaz's best works...
However to have the story compaired to 175 is a big plus, that was easily one of the strongest issues of the entire series IMO. So long as it is not be like the "EndLame" story of issue 50.

I believe in issue 200, I believe that Robotnik Prime might return. In fact, I have evidence to support this. In the Darkest Storm, you see images of Robotnik Prime when A.D.A.M say that "A.D.A.M Determines Anonymous' Movements". This was, of course, a reference he made to him himself being "Anonymous." an enigmatic character that turned out to be A.D.A.M. This role was meant to be for Robotnik Prime, hence his pictures. HOWEVER...now that I put some thought into it, there might be more to this than you think. A.D.A.M was created by accident, right? What if he WASN'T created by accident? What if, within Eggman's (Robo-Robotnik's) computer systems, the original Robotnik created A.D.A.M to make sure that the Chaos Emeralds were all put in one place? And what if he were inside of the Egg Phoenix, awaiting the moment he would download himself, so to speak, into his counterpart. Seems logical, right? Anyway, I believe that that is, in fact, the case here, especially with the whole "one of them will never be the same" thing that my pal Mike Pellerito, who I know personally, had said during his interview. This could be what we are instore for in Issue 200.
Now, on a side note, Silver the Hedgehog said that there would be a traitor midst the Freedom Fighters, and that would ruin his future. Now, I have some theories concerning this. Allow me the explain:
My first theory is that Bunnie "Rabbot" D'Coollette is destined to be the traitor. Now, this could be because of Antoine being in danger, and her sacrificing her affiliation with the Freedom Fighters to save him from either Eggman (logicallly), Mammoth Mogul, or Dimitri, depending on who holds Antoine hostage during this time. Now, as for evidence, you have Buns. She is in an Omega Suit, and is loyal to the Negative Eggman (that, and she doesn't appear in Mobius: 25 Years Later). Could this foreshadow her being evil at some point?
Antoine, ironically enough, could be the traitor as well. He could be motivated by the same things that Bunnie is in my earlier theory, he wanting to save her from being killed. I have no real evidence besides Mobius: 25 Years later, where he is missing, so this might not be very likely (but still possible).
Now, Amy Rose is also very promising. She is so obsessed with Sonic the Hedgehog, that she just might turn into a traitor because she can't take being ignored by Sonic anymore, and try to kill Sally, as the writer of Sonic's comic books said that they were going to be dating again (and hopefully not marry, I have my own plans with the series that need to come true). She doesn't appear in Mobius: 25 Years later either, which is more evidence linking her to what Silver's doomed future is like.
Hope Kintobor is next. You never actually get to know for sure if Snively killed her or not. For all you know, she could be dead. However, it seems like there is a strong possibility that she is the traitor, having found actual family members besides Snively and what-not. Maybe she is working with Eggman now. Who knows.
Now, here is the most likely, and possibly, the most logical choice, is Hamilton. He was furious at Sally for trying to stop the Suppression Squad (though his reasons were legitimate). And what's more is, is that he, a Substitute Freedom Fighter, seems to be against Sally, despite being on the same side. I think we could have our man. He could sell out New Mobotropolis to one of the villains, like Mammoth Mogul, or Dr. Finitevus, and destroy the city.
Either way you look at it, those are some very big theories. Post comments about them if you want. Quite frankly, I would very much enjoy what people think about them.

I feel robo-Robotnik aka Eggman is a good enough "return". Besides, he's been Robotnik for considerably more issues than the "real" Robotnik. However I wouldn't mind if he downloaded his consciousness into the body that looks the same as the old style?
As for who the "traitor" is, I don't know. I feel someone might do something unknowingly, ala Hershey "killing" Sally in Endgame (although hopefully done better).
I don't try to think too much about this sort of thing though. I just read my issue every month and leave it at that.

OH! I have that issue... XDSo, I stopped reading the comic well over 4 years ago, and picked up two issues over the weekend. In the last year they've changed writers, from Ken Penders (who was pretty much destroying the comic) to Ian Flynn (known as Ian Potto in certain circles).
Ian's made some interesting changes. One of which would be the addition of Bark and Bean to the cast. Bean has been especially hilarious. I quote...
"Hey Sonic? Hey. Hey Sonic? Why are you so fast? Why are you blue? Are you and the princess going to marry and have mutant hedge-squirrel babies?"
Any thoughts?
I dunno... I like all the comics just because they were so stupid...

Upon looking through that issue again though I see that the art in the backup stories is by Dawn Best and J. Axer, two of the best artists to ever grace the series. It's too bad they aren't still on board.
I'm so glad that J.F. Gabrie was replaced.
