Heh, I did warn my logic is insane didn't I?

Let me see if I can give an analogy:

Let's say you have a pond in your backyard. If you go out one morning, you see quite a few ripples. You yourself didn't see or hear anything that got thrown in, but you know the expected result of something being thrown in would create ripples. Also, if your pond was circular enough and you saw it shortly after the rock was thrown in, you could tell where it had hit. That process, using what you see to predict what happened, is observing the effect(ripples) and deducing the cause(rock or other thing thrown in). I was just doing the same thing, but trying to prove something a little more complex using basic knowledge of how a human mind typically reacts. Also, I overanalyze things and jump to conclusions.

Ohhh, I understand now, thanks. tHAT makes a lot of sense actually. so you're saying that the cultural impact of NiGHTS is the effect, ad so there must have been a cause. Although I don't think the cause was NiGHTS being real, the cause would probably be the creation of NID in the first place.

It sometimes makes me wonder if there was any chance of people dreaming about a purple jester before NiGHTS was ever thought about (even before Naka dreamt it)? Looking at an American Dream Dictonary written some time before NiGHTS was created and to dream of Jesters (though it is not a good sign) was popular enough to be added. Could that count as seeing NiGHTS if someone in the distant past dreamt of a friendly purple jester?

Even that, I'm afraid, would be just a coincidence. Unless the character was spot-on NiGHTS look-alike, it would just be a coincidence. I wonder if someone was messed-up enough to dream that before NID though?

I was surprised to have seen NiGHTS in one of my dreams just a couple of nights ago...

NiGHTS didn't say a word, but saved me from falling to my doom off of the top of a building. No idea why or how I got up there, but I fell off and NiGHTS saved me by dualizing with me as I was falling, then separating again once close enough to the ground for me to land safely. Then NiGHTS laughed at me and flew away.

This was actually just a tiny part of a very long crazy dream; NiGHTS only appeared very briefly and never showed up again. The rest of the dream was bizarre and random and involved searching like mad for a bathroom rug (which was apparently very important, though I have no idea why...), lots (and lots) of spiders, balloons randomly popping in a hospital room and scaring the poor patient senseless (I wandered into that particular room by mistake and then couldn't help but stand there and watch, trying to figure out what was making the balloons keep popping), and a bunch of other weird things.

I woke up very confused.

Finally got to meet NiGHTS last night.

I was repeatedly waking up and going back to sleep, no particular reason for my odd style of that, but it was good in the sense that I would keep waking up long enough to remember bits and pieces of a large dream that had no particular large plot. It wasn't particularly frightening, and I don't recall having much awareness that it was a dream outside of those few moments when I would wake up.

In any case, after a few other events, I found myself in the basement of Luigi's Mansion (from the Mario Brothers). I was looking for either something or someone, I can't remember which, and was being hindered by the various ghosts in the area. After coming down a set of stairs into a large room, I see NiGHTS versus a large ghost, and get to watch some impressive acrobatics in an enclosed area. I came in and helped out, and afterwards we teamed up to continue looking for the reasons we were in here, NiGHTS was also in the mansion to find someone, I don't know if it was the same person. I don't have much specific detail as to whether we found them or not, since I wound up waking up before seeing the conclusion of that particular arc of the dream. One thing I do remember though is NiGHTS showing off a werewolf-looking form, getting covered in brown fur and growing some canines. For some reason or another, the ghosts were frightened of it.

So, then I wake up in the morning, get so lost in thought and trying to solidify the dream in my memory, that I head off to work without lunch. And ever since, I've been walking on air (not literally, unfortunately), it feels a lot like it did when I first completed Journey of Dreams.

Lol I'm restarting a 2 year old thread but...
One night, I wasn't sitting at my table and drawing a Nightmaren that I named ODEiON. It was a level 2 Nightmaren, it was like jackle but he shoots out film and records. In Latin, ODEiON means "A roofed theatre". So I drew his nightmare like a big clip of a movie. So I dazed off for some reason and I dreamt I was watching a movie with my parents. When I go out to get popcorn. I come back in to see the whole theatre gone. Then ODEiON jumped out of the screen! I ran an ran but he took my ideya. I was laying on the floor to wake up to NiGHTS in the JoD attire. He helped me up and we duelized. We defeated ODEiON and I got back my yellow ideya. The rest was lost but I'm sure ill find it as I WILL dream tonight.

Yeah, I had a dream about NiGHTS. Quite a few, actually. The ones I can recall at the moment are when NiGHTS was like in a human form at a college,
another dream about NiGHTS being a poledancer, and that really strange treehouse dream where NiGHTS was inviting everyone into the treehouse. Oh,
and I had a dream more centered around Jackle. Somebody was plotting to kill him. There was also that dream where NiGHTS was in Ed'Edd' an Eddy.
Her shoes looked different, like they had laces on them.

I had a weird dream last night. I was going to sleep within my dream and in this dream within a dream I was lucid. I realised this and started to cry out for NiGHTS (like I always do when lucid) but Jackle turned up instead and then I started to cry because it was Jackle and not NiGHTS. Then I woke up in the dream I was originally dreaming.

I had a dream that featured NiGHTs and Wizeman last night. First there was what looked like the battle between NiGHTs and Wizeman in NiD, except that I was floating outside the tower, looking in, and it was hard to see what was happening. Then Wizeman noticed I was there and grabbed me with one of his hands, and threw me into another dream that was lucid. He then said he wanted me to be a Nightmaren and kept asking me to create scary things (I kept making chavs appear, it was the scariest thing I could think of) and then asked me to turn the sky different colours and to make a dungeon. I tried to make a dungeon under a cemetery but was failing and getting more and more frustrated, then I woke up.

No, I do not know why I was co-operating with Wizeman throughout the entire dream, even when I had control of the dream. I was just kind of fascinated to see what would happen...

It was weird, because the dream was actually lucid and it was also part of the story of the dream that it was lucid, as well as that it had changed dreams. Near the beginning it also kept forgetting whether NiGHTs was a game in the dream (I could see the game box and CD and even a random Japanese guy I was told had worked on the games design team, but for some reason not the games console) or whether the plot of NiGHTs was actually happening in the dream. It was the most meta dream ever :/

There's only one time I can remember encountering NiGHTS, way back in the mid-'00s, and even then I don't know if it was a direct meeting; she was arguing with Reala over something. (Or maybe "he", as back then I was in the "NiGHTS is male" camp) They and a few other people were in this odd pocket dimension with high walls and ledges, and everything was covered in patchwork, with some lights hanging down from parts unknown (I believe the ceiling stretched up into infinity?).

 

After a certain amount of time had elapsed, a disembodied voice sang "The dream is fading!", signifying that everyone had to finish what they were doing and book it before the pocket dimension collapsed and took them with it. Everyone made it out okay, thankfully.

 

(That may have been the same dream in which I first saw my fan-Maren, Kaze L'envoul-Majyr [*gag*]. Those memories have more or less been lost to time, however.)

Haha, I've been blessed (or perhaps cursed) to see NiGHTS before. There are a few instances in which I'm comfortable sharing while the others... Ehh. 

 

The first instance I was in a floating candyland. I'm not joking. There was a purple brick path that swirled around in an almost insane fashion, and the sky was pink and purple and filled with clouds that held lollipops and teddy bears. From the doors (I assumed at the time it was a sort of nightopia? It had the doors from JoD in it after all.) to the end of the pathway was nothing but pinks, purples, and sugar-infested sweets. At the end of the pathway, there was a black winding staircase, that extended beyond my view into the clouds above, however broke off  a few feet under the pathway. Below everything was a sea of black sludge. NiGHTS appeared behind me, and we talked for a little while about the place I was in and what I was supposed to do. At the time, he believed it was my nightopia, and that the winding staircase was my pathway to paradise; writing my first novel. At the end of the dream, I was climbing up the stairs.

 

The second instance was a very brief encounter during some sort of zombie dream; in the dream, someone had used a spell to summon a zombie that would kill anyone it came in contact with, so I was running away from it. After distracting it, I ran into an arcade where I met up with some "friends" (People I didn't know in real life but were apparently my friends in the dream) And then, I turned to see NiGHTS on one of those car-racing arcade games. He looked at me and smiled, gave me a wave before asking me "Having fun?" Before I could process that I was dreaming, however, I was dragged away by my friends.

 

The third instance was when I was dreaming about school; I was visiting since I've graduated, and for some reason one of the teachers thought I was her student and I was skipping class. After a moment, I realized; "Wait a second. Something isn't right here." And when I realized I was dreaming, I changed everything; it went from being a school to being a greek temple of some sort. That is when NiGHTS appeared, and he scolded me for using my lucidity to change the dream. He was pretty miffed that I was even lucid at all. In the end, he tricked me into thinking I had woken up to stabilize my lucidity and make me unaware I was still dreaming.

 

I've seen Reala before as well; though only once or twice. He appeared in the candyland area and was conjuring walls made out of sour memories to stop me from climbing the stairs.

 

I've also had one dream that was about me making a movie related to NiGHTS and there was a bunch of merchandise for the movie being sold and I wanted all of the things.

 

Those are all the instances I'm comfortable sharing.

I didn't directly meet NiGHTS this time, but I briefly saw this dream-site listing tons of more "out-there" games, and NiGHTS was among them--along with an upcoming "NiGHTS II" (not JoD), and a section on an art book. The rest of my dream (that I can remember) had to do with Kirby and Klonoa.

I've dreamt of NiGHTS only once. I remember the dream very vividly, (I don't wanna forget it) I was walking around Splash Garden, taking note of how vibrant and colourful everything seemed. I also felt like myself, I wasn't another person or anything like that. (if that makes any sense). Just before the dream ended, I heard a distinct voice behind me and I gasped as I recognized the voice. Sadly, I woke up before I turned around to see who had spoke. But I know who it sounded like, how NiGHTS sounded in JoD!
