I was surprised by the British accents at first but after five minutes I was okay with them and kind of prefer them to Sonic and some of his friends voices. Although, the British seems kind of halfwayed... none of the characters use actually British terminology like bloke, bugger, or Blimey (actually I think that one's more cockney than British but you get the idea) What would you choose if you had a chose? American or British accents?

I'm kinda neutral on this... at first I thought it was weird but it kinda grew on me (although it never grew enough for me to be able to file it into a love/hate category)

No. Primarily Reala's voice, considering that he had the only spoken line in NiD. And the game has subtitles, so understanding him wouldn't be a problem. But why does NiGHTS even need dialog? for a game like NiD, it seems like a crutch.

I was happy >:3 but i may be biased...

And yeah some of the actual scripted words should have been written differently if British type overtones were going to be used. Though the thought of Reala saying 'OH BLOODY HELL' Ron style makes me gag laugh.
I loved all the voice actors, but i agree that since Reala actualy DID speak in the last game we all took his voice there as being how he would sound in JoD but it was completely different. A lot of fans were thrown off by that. Still like Reala's new voice though... but his laugh.... makes me D:

DOWN WITH THE BRITISH! *throws a bottle*

edit- wait that's a good point, why the hell was there english subtitles for english speaking people?? It's not like they were all speaking Dorick or anything, lawl.

DOWN WITH THE BRITISH!

Ooo. God help you when i get home. *throws bottle back at you*

Anyways, on topic -
I like the accents and it's about time they did something different than what the Sonic voice actors were giving out. All this "radical, cool, awesome!!" talk was getting boring after Sonic Adventure 2. The voice acting in NiGHTS JoD is not amazing but i've grown to like some of the voices they've given, especially NiGHTS' and Wizemans. Reala, however, i dunno. Seems a bit off but, eh, who cares.

I'm not sure what to think myself.. personal perspective is a key factor here. It's different that what we usually hear, so it's kinda cool that way, but since the accents were primarily obviously forced I would have rather they dropped them just for the sake of not letting them distract from the dialogue.

I wasn't really sure about the British accents at first, but I soon realized that they fit everyone perfectly. ^.^ So yeah, I really like them!

He sounds vaguely like he's from here in Massachussetts, but then again, he also sounds vaguely British as well....

I mean really. No self-respecting Bostonian is going to go, "I consign you to oblivion, along with this eyesore of a world." they'd say, "Get the f*#$ out of my way, you f*#%^ng traffic hog! I'm driving here!"

I've always loved British accents anyway, although the ones in the game could have been better. Will just, y'know, f#*&^% forgot he was British half the time and just sounded like an American kid. And Helen's voice actor seemed so intent on perfecting the accent that she made Helen sound like a robot.

I don't think Will is British. I think he and his father probably moved to England after Will was born... Will's dad seems to have one of those jobs that require relocating and lots of travel involved.

Being Australian, British accents are no more odd or foreign to me than American or Japanese voices would be. If anything, they're less so. Given that, I didn't have any problems with them.

I liked the idea of the accents. I didn't like the poorly executed accents that were in it. NiGHTS' accent was simply horrid. I just wish NiGHTS had sounded better.

Also, "Without accents"... Not possible? XD Everybody has an accent. Do you mean without British accents?

I may have liked them more if they were all done by actual British folk. Like sometimes the voices would go from Brit accent to American back to British.

It was a good idea. British accents fit the Big Ben look of Bellbridge Tower. But if they wanted to do that, why didn't they just hire voice actors who were British? It would've made the voices sound so much better.

Money I guess. SEGA is pretty cheap at times.

I'm kinda neutral about the accents. I mean, I like the idea of the accents - aside from that laugh Reala sounded pretty good - but some where just... yeah. Faked accents are painful to hear.

Maybe they weren't for the English speaking people, but rather for the hard-of-hearing and/or those of us who didn't get a translation in our language?

And yeah, I agree that the Reala laugh and the voice was great, even if the accent was a bit too pronounced.

I loved his accent. It wasn't too pronounced. If anything, they should have emphasized it more. It was almost too subtle. You know, I actually have his voice as my ringtone now. Whenever someone calls me, my phone goes, "Cerberus is on his way here to see you. Oh, you know Cerberus. That mad old dog who'll devour anything in sight? And while I'd love to stick around for that, you did hurt me quite a bit more than I expected." I usually pick it up around the time he goes, "That mad old dog--" and then I'll pick it up. *sighs happuily*

His laugh was creepy in a good way. I loved it.
