Ok, I think I said in one of my first posts "I don't condone piracy." Well, I know it's kind of stupid to admit to being a pirate (not the China types, and not Jack Sparrow either) but...

I really want to play NiGHTS into dreams, really badly.

I have downloaded the SSF emulator and got everything working, and I got an XBOX 360 controller for the PC. I also got the CUE and ISO files (I won't tell you where) but... WHAT DO I DO NOW!? D8

I tried burning the ISO and CUE files onto a CD-R, but all that happens is that I end up going to the music screen. The machine (which the emulator is emulating) says that the game disc is not suitable for the system. WTF? Aren't Saturn CDs CD-Roms?

*prays and hopes TRiPPY or DiGi doesn't murder him because of this thread*

...*prepares himself by hiding in the deep woods of Canada*

Either that or a Daemon's tool.

SFF is set to the wrong region. It recognizes it as a game, but from the wrong region. change SSF's region. man, this post sounds like omochao.

If you have msn, look in my profile and add me, i can guide you through SSF if you need help. And i do suggest deamon as opposed to burning the bin/cue

Mount the .cue file using the Daemon tools application, then select the emulated drive in SSF's options, also, make sure you have the right BIOS for the game's area code. It should work now.

Tried all the suggestions, but the only game I was able to fully play (abit slowdown in some places) was Raident Silvergun. NiGHTS was horrid (no, the game doesn't suck, playing it's BIN file was), slow down, my emulator froze when I tried configuring my 360 controller for analog and the music started playing faster for some reason.

I heard this emulator can play the real Saturn discs themselves. Has anyone tried this emulator with a real NiGHTS disc?

Yes that works, but its best to use a bin/cue or iso.

I heard so too, but I never tried it.

Don't worry about getting banned over having the .iso; it's more-so if you post a thread full of cracked games that you're gonna get in-trouble. And, generally, no one flames anyone anymore about emulation vs original anymore on the forums. It's actually playing the game that counts |3.

If you wanted to play it that badly you could just buy a used Saturn and game disc...
