Just added the cover of Nintendo Power to our update page.
Not sure when this issue is out (or if it already is). Lets get some more! Send in your finds to subs.
Any thoughts on how weird it is to see NiGHTS grace a front cover again after 11 years? I know that i'll probably get a surreal pause when i'm in a shop looking at the shelf. Not that it's a bad thing.

I've been keeping my eyes open every time I walk into a Borders or a Waldenbooks or even the grocery store.. but there seems to be a lag in the magazines with news about JoD around here. There was an issue of Edge that was a retrospect of games from years ago, and they touched in on the original game, but that's all I've seen of NiGHTS anywhere so far, other than internet.

It... feels kinda surreal to see NiGHTS on a cover, like I'm dreaming. How fitting XD When I first got my hands on Gamereactor, I had to keep checking it to make sure I wasn't hallucinating.

If I can scrounge up a little extra, maybe I can get two Nintendo Power magazines, because Loren has a discount at Barnes and Nobles, because GameStop and that store are (or were) owned by the same company. Not just to have two, I mean to send to someone! Hee hee. (IF I can.) So many choices, so few magazines.
HWA~ I just want to take that picture to a Kinkos and get a poster of it! *Evil*

The Edge special ("File") reprinted the game's original review, with a couple of retrospective sentences in the margin (nothing much). They'd reprinted that review before, in their "100 Most Significant Reviews from the first 100 issues" special from 2001, though that version was condensed a bit and the layout was changed to fit Edge's design at the time (the reprints in "File" are just direct scans of the original issues). There was an issue of Edge that was a retrospect of games from years ago, and they touched in on the original game, but that's all I've seen of NiGHTS anywhere so far, other than internet.
Hi everyone, by the way.

Progress of the game is exciting to me, because after these long hard years of waiting it still feels like a fantasy ;0
I never really was into buying magazines, but I would love to sport this on my shelf somewhere along with the many others that will be more than willing to put NiGHTS on there cover. Now to save munnies.

Ok I just looked at back order issues for the Nintendo Power Website. Now No where from January 2007 - May 2007 does this cover exist. I don't know where this came from. But so far, no one can buy it. Maybe its a future cover. I don't know. Maybe its a June issue.
I have a friend who subscribes to Nintendo Power magazine. The last issue he got was May 2007, a few weeks ago. According to him, they always release the issues to subscribers by the middle of the month before.
You know, I've got an idea.
*-*disappears from computer for a while*-*
Okay, he let me take a look at the preview page for the June issue. No mention of NiGHTS, but everything else on that cover is mentioned. And Wikipedia also lists this as the June 2007 cover. So I guess it seems pretty likely, then.

...Now that's the stuff of nightmares. Even DiGi's Welcome track on Themes 1 didn't compare to that.

lol I found this amusing. I thought about something similar earlier.
10 Ways they can mess up the new NiGHTS:
1. Give NiGHTS a voice(a corny one at that) "Hello children. Tonight will turn into a dream."
2. Claris and Elliot are playable characters. However they are senior citizens with canes and such.
3. The music sucks.
4. NiGHTS has a gun and says "Damn it" everytime he gets hurt.
5. NiGHTS heavily HEAVILY relies on the mask given to the player throughout the game.
6. NiGHTS is very difficult to control.
7. The game glitches in and out making it impossible at some point.
8. They use the 4kids dubbers to voice the characters.
9. The game doesn't include the original as an unlockable(then again is this neccessary?)
10.There is no more A-life(that would totally suck, Nightopians are cool)
