So I'm almost done school for the summer (YAY!) and im not taking summer courses. So i need to fidn some way to keep myself occupied outside of work. In other words, I'm debating over writing an essay/review of NiGHTS games and their gameplay values along with graphics and all that jazz. But it also came to mind, why not make a GOOD strategy guide? I'll admit, each level has it's own tricks and I've done quite a good job figuring out what the hell you gotta do to get that A. So if people are interested, what would you like better? Insanely detailed reviews by a university english major, or a detailed walkthrough to get the highest scores imaginable by a NiGHTS fan. Now i know im not number 1 in everything so i'll welcome all the tips everyone has to offer and everyone who has input would be credited. I'm not a superior player at the game, but i get a minimum A in every level just by playing around and have at least top 100 in every single mission. So what do you guys think?

Guide. Please make a guide. I couldn't get all A's on my own if you paid me. I'm a straight-C student. When I make a C+ in anything at school, it's cause for celebration. If I came home with straight D's on my report card my dad would probably buy me a car.

Of course, my mother wouldn't be satisfied if I came home with straight A's. I could be the President of the United States and she'll walk into the Oval Office and say, "Oh... you picked those drapes...?"

I don't understand why people make walkthroughs for games that have official ones with shiny covers and lots of pictures. Of course, the JoD official guide does call NiGHTS an imp.

That is literally the only way I can get my friends to understand vaguely what NiGHTS is. I have to call him a "gay dream clown" so they'll understand. I have to call Reala the "bad-guy dream clown", Jackle the "crazy orange dream clown", Wizeman "The big six-hands guy", and the others are:

Gulpo: The big Fishy
Gillwing: The big fishy dragon
Puffy: The Fat Lady who Sings
Donbalon: The Balloon Clown
Girania: Big METAL fishy
Chamelon: Magician Lizard
Bomamba: The Kitty Lady
Queen Bella: Frilly Spider Lady
Cerberus: Big Flaming Doggy
Clawz: Big Dream Kitty (not to be confused with The Kitty Lady)

No, I'm not kidding. Those friends of mine who don't play NiGHTS? I have to refer to the characters these way or else I'll get a "What's a Gulpo again?" or "What's a Bomamba?"

Oh yeah, i suck at My Dream stuff. So unless someone wants to submit that portion to add to my guide it won't be included. I am also thinking about putting in racing/battle tips. Anything else i should add people may want to know on how to become a better NiGHTS player?

EDIT: Ok, so i have started designing the walkthrough. Yes, it will be layed out all professionaly with my l33t corel draw skills AND as an rtf for the people who want a cheap quick thing with no pretty colours.

Now I am asking everyone to submit a problem/level/lap/boss they have a trouble getting an A on or if they have a good strategy. I'll post advice in this topic, but it is mainly for me to get and idea of where people struggle most. I have a small demo of the layout as a pdf I can show, but i have no way to upload it. Also, if ANYONE can take good-decent quality screenshots i can use in the guide that would be AWESOME! Everyone who helps will be credited.
