The other night I invited a friend into my dream garden for the first time and was pressing every button on the controls to find a text option, I found this box popped up with various emotes so had to use them to comunicate. I was a bit dissapointed at the fact you cant talk or that there wasnt even pre-writen text like 'hi'.
I think it's a bit odd...

It sucks I know ):

If you know the person your visiting you should create a system like,
(pian monster take)symbols could mean "can I have this mepian" or something.
Me and my friend just call each other when we go to each others mydream,than again if we
visit a random persons mydream they wont know a thing I say XD

I think they done it to be child/net friendly... but most kids i know would feel insulted not being able to type a simple greeting like hello e_e; If it had been done exactly like the chat system in PSO it would have been great... silly SonicTeam. Boo to you.

Writing, drawing, art in any way, shape, or form, hard rock music, dancing wildly even though I can't dance for crap. I write poetry and lyrics (although they're not very good T__T) and comedy movies. I love the Dreamcast podcast that DiGi and TRiPPY put on. I also enjoy thinking outside the box. I'm what is known as a Meathead. I can laugh at myself, think outside the box, and smile. Meatheads are smarter than your average Joe, with much more common sense and the rare ability to find creative solutions to problems. My idol is a man named Jimmy Dolittle. Look him up ^.~
I wish it had a microphone so you could chat live with the other person. Symbols = Decidedly NOT win.

I agree with TRiPPY. There would be nothing wrong in using PSO's chatting system. They should of used it in JoD. What would have been another cool option is hooking up a USB keyboard to the back of the Wii and then using that to chat!

Personally, I still think the microphone idea shouldn't be rejected. I feel more of a connection to someone when I'm actually talking to them rather than just PRETENDING I'm talking to someone.

I don't talk in symbol-filled speech bubbles, people.

The Wii remote has a speaker in it for sound effects and such, but no microphone. I'm sorry. ^_^;;;;;
