[Rhapsody]

Am I the only person who thinks that some nightmaren are actually scary? For example, the first time I fought Clawz in the original NiGHTS I had consecutive nightmares (i'm still scared of him). Also, Donbalon, JoD Wiseman, JoD Reala, and to a certain extent NiGHTS from both games I'm scared of. Am I the only one?

The jack-in-the-boxes in Jackle's room significantly freak me out.

Hard to say.. I can't recall any nightmares involving them.. I'll let you know if I do.. But I've heard people call NiGHTS freaky before, which is cool, since as a Nightmaren he's meant to appear kind of freaky, from what I've read. Cute and freaky at the same time. So there's nothing to be embarrassed about.

I believe some of them ARE meant to be kinda scary. They are nightmaren after all.

Reala has always scared me and still does. Well...except with his new outfit. That just makes me laugh.

Well, the only time I really dream is during the day. (I usually only dream when I'm asleep about 2-5 times a year) So my nightmares are waking up to abuncha work. But I can see how NiGHTS, Reala, Donbalon, etc. to be scary. Picture driving down a wet road on a stormy night then as the thunder flashes for a mere instant you see Reala standing in the middle of the road staring right at you *shivers*. So your not the only one don't worry about it.

I've never been especially scared of them, but Donbalon is a little creepy, and Jackle's laugh makes me go 'O____O KWQJHNsmdnc HELP' XD;;

Well, I haven't played the original yet, but...

Cerberus scares the hell out of me. TnT I think that's mainly because I have a terrible fear of dogs though.

Other than him, Girania kinda creeped me out in the beginning... I didn't know how to play at first, so when I started with Helen and got to Girania, he would often eat me and I couldn't figure out how to inflict damage. x_x He actually made me put the game down for a few days..

I've never actually had nightmares about any of them though...
Except Reala once..
I had a nightmare last week where Reala attacked me and I actually woke up with cuts along the right side of my face...*shudders*

I can't recall a moment I've ever been scared by anything in NiGHTS. Then again I did go through Resident Evil 4 without showing or feeling any emotion of fear. Oh wait that game wasn't scary lol

Actually, most of the Nightmaren I find strange, weird, or eccentric. None of them are outright "ack-hyperventilate-panic!" scary to me.

Donbalon is odd in a "shudder-creepy" kind of way. He's unnerving to me, but not terrifying.

That, and Donbalon Lv. 2. ticks me off. Stupid boss battle physics.

I've never really been scared by any of them. However, the nightmarens actually do look like things I would have had nightmares about as a little kid.

The only ones I could potentially see as scary are Cerberus (just because of the dogs' viciousness) and Queen Bella (since spiders tend to freak me out a little bit). I can see most of the nightmaren scaring people since most of them are based around common fears anyway.

As for Reala? Not so much. But I did have a dream not long ago where I caught a glimpse of NiGHTS, but when I got closer and took another look all I saw was a very angry Reala fade away into nothingness...more startling than scary.

Don't be ashamed, Reala's scary no matter what....He does have an intimadating look and stare..And yes I did have nightmares many times about time...that's when I first started to play JOD.
And there is one cut scene that does make me jump. you know in Helen's dream, when reala first appears? Yeah he just comes along and gives me a heart attack! reala does make more of an appearance in JOD so yeah they have to make him more scary

In my case, Chameleon..... and Cerberus scare me..... Donbalon scares me the most.... I swear he never blinks. *shutters*....... Which is why I stick to Helens story more when I'm playing JoD. >_<;

Hmm, i more or less always idolize the nightmaren. The only thing that scare me in a video game has been the game Shadowgate for NES. I played it when i was REALLY young and it just creeps me out. The music, the setting, oo the willys.
