I've stolen access to my bro's (well, its unofficially his computer, and I'll try to get on it when he's at work. Hopefully the laptop thing will be easy to fix and I'll be back in full swing before we know it. I'm heading to Curry's or Dixon's or wherever I got it on Monday to have a moan, see if I can't get a new cable, if not, I'll have to phone up again to get it, again.

Whips? Being honest i have not used them as i'm not signed to a job that lets me use them....unless Fortefighters can use them in which case i have yet to come across one then. XD

DeZ goes on about how 'cool' they are though so if anything they look quite sexy.

Whips are exclusive to tech characters (Guntecher, Fortetecher, Acrotecher) and they're mostly used as a melee weapon to support their techs. In this regard the whip is pretty damn good. It sweeps, similar to the sword and it can cause a respectable amount of damage for a force, especially after leveling its PA enough. It also tends to cause status ailments rather frequently. Basically if you can use whips, I think it should have a permanent spot on your palette. Depending on your character it may not cause as much damage as some your techs but it's a great melee option, especially in those obnoxious situations when you get silenced.

A little thing about LIVE and PSU... You don't have to pay for Xbox LIVE to play PSU. You only need a silver account, which is free. If anything requires a monthly fee on its own, like PSU and FFXI, it's playable through a silver account. I only have gold to play other games on LIVE, which is pretty cheap in the long run. Cheaper than the monthly fee for PSU actually.

Good news everyone, I'm on my laptop, as I went to pick it up earlier today (inadvertantly leaving myself logged in on a mish on the computer XD).

Once I remember what I'm meant to be doing, besides getting some snapshots, normal schedule will resume.
God it feels good to get on a comfy chair.
