My past: TORiAS is an ancient power. He used to serve as a Gaurdian to the World of Nightopia, but got stuck in his Nightmaren form after Wizeman stuck him from the sky. This caused him to loose his powers as a Gaurdian, and loose his memory. He has been on many journeys.

Here is my Nightmaren that I'd like to use in the RPG if possible

Name: Illusia (pronounced ILL-U-SHE-A)
Geneder: Female
Age: Whatever age NiGHTS is only a few minutes or seconds younger (my guess on NiGHTS' age is about 15 or 16 years old)
Species: Nightmaren
Appearance: Nightmaren of lightish green, has a long light blue and gold vest that is sort of like a short skirted dress, boots are blue with bits of green. Has a light pink stone in the center of her chest and in the center of her "jester" hat against her forhead. In my fan fic the stone/jewel shows her link with the Ideya of Trust (an ideya I made up for my fanfic that doesn't need to be in the RP). She has the same blue eyes as NiGHTS and a slightly curly ponytail of short blond hair poking out from her hat.
Strengths: Psychic powers including being able to contact others telepathicly especially her older brother, powers that are light based including that of being able to make holograms and illusions to fool her enemies, can paraloop like NiGHTS and using her illusion powers can turn herself invisible.
Weakness: Not very experienced in battling higher level Nighmaren (yet), being easily scared when she's tensed, her heart (If someone she cares about is in trouble she goes straight after them without thinking and usually gets herself into trouble especially if that person is being used as bait in a trap for her) and Reala (she still cares about him even if she has to fight him).
Likes: Making friends, helping NiGHTS, other renigade Nightmaren, having fun, her freedom, teasing NiGHTS and Owl (especially Owl), her powers, daydreaming, Playing with the Nightopians, Singing (she has a great singing voice!).
Dislikes: Wizeman, evil Nightmaren and all bad guys and bullies
Story: Illusia was created at the same time as NiGHTS and Reala but turned out to be more like NiGHTS than Reala. Eventually she goes into hiding because she finds out that Wizeman plans to do the same thing to her as he was plainning to do to NiGHTS during Journey of Dreams. After hiding in Nightmare for a while she heard of NiGHTS rebellion and reunites with him in Nightopia and tries to help him protect Nightopia while learning how to do just that with her powers and ablilitys with her older brother's teaching. She wishes that she and NiGHTS could get Reala on their side but knows that that might be impossible but ever the optimistic she keeps trying. (Note: this is entierly different than what happens to her during my fanfic but I thought that it might fit the RPG a bit better this way than what I'm doing in my fanfic.)

Okay... To explain - TORiAS is NOT , I repeat, NOT evil, but.... well, he spent some time in Nightmare. With Reala. He's a very enigmatic guy....

Name: Zanos
Gender: Was male. Now an enigma.
Age: Err, how old is Wizeman? >_>
Appearance:
Powers: Can produce Light and Dark energy simultaneously to attack in various ways, but can't use either type seperately except in the creation of portals.
Can create a crimson blade known as Blood of the World, a sheild known as Dusk Compass, has multiple persona masks, as well as his all five types of ideya which reside in his body.
Strongest attack: Twilight Cannon. Forms a cannon out of the ideya, blade and masks. Can restore targets to their normal states, or deal heavy damage.

Personality: Zanos tries to be wise in what he does, but can be somewhat short-sighted at times and despite not being vocal about it, veiws people he doesn't know well with a certain level of distrust. Due to his general lack of contact with other beings of the dreamworld, he tends to like being around those he does trust. He also has a habit of doing things in favor of Nightopia, despite the fact that he is supposed to bring balance, perhaps out of respect or love for the Great Mother he knew.

Origin: Zanos is one of the few beings who seemed to just exist one day, but there is a story behind it. No, I'm not telling you all of it here.
Zanos began existance around the same time as Nightopia and Nightmare, and made his home in an alternate Dream Gate for quite a while before managing to get Wizeman and the Great Mother of that time to stop fighting with each other. This would ultimately (and ironically) disrupt the balance and for a time, cause Zanos to go into hiding since he did not yet have the power he does now.

Strength(s): Multiple forms, high power and higher than average defensive capabilites. Also highly experienced.
Weaknesses(s): Fairly slow, suprisingly limited light/dark attacks, personas can be countered and swordsplay is weaker than ranged attacks.

... Yeah, I don't know about the rest of you, but...

You seem like a pretty nice person yourself, but... You seem a bit inexperienced at this sorta thing. Would I be right on that?
Look, it's not my topic, so I have no right to pass judgement, but please re-read the rules... And please tone it down a bit. I know you're not CLAIMING to have Wizeman-level strength, but that's the way you seem to come off. Especially with that particular backstory.

Oh, and TORiAS... Yeah, prepare to defend yourself while trying to convince Frosty not to kill you. Everyone else... Run for cover. I tend to try and end fights quickly by knocking people out, but that's in other continuities, when Frosty really has nothing to gain. Here, Frosty has somehting to gain by putting down one of Wizeman's pets, so... Yeah.

Anytime I try to RP, the RP I join usually falls flat after a short period, or doesn't go on at all. Plus whenever I ask for help in crafting characters or defining 'overpowered', I typically get ignored. No comments+critisism at all. And if people don't ignore me, they usually just swear at me if I screw up instead of pointing out the problems so I can learn from them.
Also, how did the backstory come off that way?

Charater stuff:
As far as the personas go, I've only really developed the Falcon persona, and have thought of utilising other forms without much luck. I'll drop it down to just that one, and maybe one other mask so I can have options without looking stupidly overpowered.
But Personas only redistribute the stats rather than add to them...
As far as I know, the Ideya don't provide noticeable combat benefits, so those are just there to emphasize on the balance keeper aspect and to act as parts for the Twilight Cannon.
And the whole simultaneous light/dark energy thing is based off the Ahniliator (sp?) beam from Metroid Prime 2, which wasn't exactly overpowered.
The Sonic Boom charge combo wasn't any stronger than a Super Missle.
The sword and sheild thing is a rarely used melee option.
Plus, it's not like I can turn into a god like Nyclone (albeit only breifly) can. >_>

Name: Micorp
Gender: Androgynous, usually considered female
Age: Has been in existence for 4 years, is at maturity age 17
Species: Nightmaren

Strengths: Can make one clone of herself with whom she can create a paraball or paracylinder, can cover more area and defeat more enemies
Weaknesses: Is normally relatively weak. 1 half of energy goes into making the clone, 1/4th goes into the clone itself, she gets the last fourth as her remainder energy.
Likes: Freedom, flying, sleeping
Dislikes: Wizeman, Nightmaren loyal to him, rudeness
Story: Micorp was created after NiGHTS rebelled against Wizeman, in a plan to create more 1st class 'Maren. Thus, she was created. However, like NiGHTS, she disagreed with Wizeman and what he wanted to do, so she fled on a mission he had assigned to her. She later discovered that she was supposed to die on that mission, which fueled her anger towards Wizeman even more. Since then, she has been floating freely in Nightopia, flying and sleeping.
Other: Refers to Wizeman as either “Handman” or “Mr. Hands” because of his six hands.

Oh, that happens a lot. Whenever an RP has a bunch of characters come in, or even one, it can throw off the 'RP-Master's' plans, or someone else's plans as well, and the entire tempo of the RP goes down the drain. The RP-Master loses interest, because someone unintentionally screwed up their RP...
I'VE actually had that happen to me. Some jerk came in, did two posts, screwing up my plotline, never saw him again. Of course, that RP continued, though, but I was pretty cheesed off, and didn't post for a few days afterwards.
And as far as asking for help goes, most RP communities are pretty harsh. I got lucky, and My first RP lived on and, as I've found out is actually pretty rare... it came to it's planned, intended end, after three-four healthy years! But by the end, it was just me and two friends. XD What I've learned, though, is that you've gotta study other people's characters, see how they act and react, their different powers, etc... When I step back and look at him, Frosty is a bit on the overpowered side, IMO. But then I look at some other people's characters, and I find that he's pretty average most of the time, only becoming rediculously overpowered when it's a one-on-one fight. XD So I've learned to stay away from those sort of RPs, for fear of Mods and Admins.
But really, all you need to do is read a few RPs, ignore the jerk posts, because nobody likes a jerk, and you'll do fine. (Everyone likes PLAYING the jerk, though. Which is why I RP with Frosty. XD You've gotta be pretty lucky to be able to play the jerk without everyone hating your guts. I don't know if anyone hates MY guts, because they've never said anything, but I don't think I've ever actually p*ssed anyone off just yet.)

When you say someone is as old as Wizeman, it tends to make people think that they're just as powerful as Wizeman as well. Or is that just me? Hm...

I don't play Metroid, so I can't speak for most of what you said, but you sound like you know what you're doing here. XD
And for the Light and Dark thing, I thought you had gotten that off the Fourth Season of Digimon, where combining light and dark pretty much equalled Instant Death. XD My bad, there.

Guys, I am HORRIBLY sorry that I was gone for so long. So much stuff went down, I swear.

1. I got majorly sick and got rushed to the hospital, stayed there for a few days.
2. Summer camp, just got out of it.
3. A budget cut cost my mom her job, so our house went into a spiraling financial situation.
4. Mom got a bad ear infection and is still getting over migraines.
5. Dad got West Nile virus.
6. Have to attend a secondary summer camp on Saturdays through the rest of vacation and all through the school years.
7. Relationship issues.

So...Yeah. I'm really, really gonna try and catch up, but I don't know how much I'll be able to clean up. Again, I'm sorry.
