If you've visited my art thread or my DeviantArt page, then you probably know me and REPRiSE by now. (i sure as hell plug myself enough rolluf)

And now, to those who enjoy REPRiSE, like my REPRiSE style of drawing your favorite Nightmarens, or to those who just love to be creatively challenged, I'm issuing a Reverse Fanmaren Contest!

How is it reversed? Well in most Fanmaren contests, you're asked to create a Fanmaren.
In mine, I've already made them up for you.

You see, I really stink at the NiGHTS style. TnT It's the reason I opted for such a unique/personalized style in REPRiSE.
So, seeing as I needed some Fanmarens for my doujinshi, I've created them...and now wonder what they'd look like in their true element.

Objective: redesign my REPRiSE Fanmarens in the NiGHTS style

Starts: Mon,10,Mar,08
Ends: Fri,11,Apr,08

Prize: commission from me of any NiGHTS character (official, OC, or otherwise) in my REPRiSE style

Lynn's Fanmarens: Glayve & Peiradaie (respectively, not to scale)


Tobias's Fanmarens: Tournture & Twahl (respectively, not to scale)


Rules:

• You may recreate as many or as few of the Fanmarens as you'd like, in any NiGHTS style you so choose (anthropormorphic like NiGHTS, animal like Cerberus, object like Donbalon, etc.), but you may only do ONE of each. No duplicates of a single Fanmaren; so the maximum number of times you can enter is four.
• It can be in bw or color, traditional or digital, and posted in either your Scraps or your Gallery, but it MUST be posted somewhere on the internet. You can give me Photobucket links and stuff (Link me to the picture, NOT the page the picture's on, please.) but no e-mailing me entries or anything because it has to be publicly viewable.
• No mature content please. <3

Guidelines:

• You may submit group pictures (two, three, or all four of them together) where they are idle or interacting, but each Fanmaren will be counted as a submission and judged individually. (For example, a submission of Twahl and Glayve in a single picture would be counted as two submissions and no more entries containing Twahl or Glayve would be accepted from you.) However, do not let this hinder your creativity!
• You do not have to stick to my original design like glue, but they need to be recognizable. Again, be creative. <3
• Add a link to the respective Fanmaren(s)'s Conceptual Artwork as well as a link back to this Journal Entry in the Artist's Comment if posted on DeviantArt.

Final Note: I do NOT judge based on skill, but on creativity. Do not feel like you can't enter because you "can't draw as well" as others. In the end, I look at the effort and thought you put into your entry, not the fancy tablets or expensive Prisma markers you used.

I REALLY love Glayve here. You captured his personality so well! And Peiradaie looks simply adorable!! I really like that you caught all the little details too. <3

The sword isn't the same color as his hand, so he's holding it. ^^ Sorry if that was unclear.
