Let me see...one thing.

I would have to say they should have shrunk the levels down vertically, and tightened the controls a ton more.

OK, that was two things. So I'll pick the second one. Better controls. There.

Ya, the levels all have a "diluted" feeling to them, the set pieces aren't few, they're just far between. in NiD, you passed some of the set peices, two maybe three times, in the new game, take a good look, cause you arn't seeing that part of the level again. NiD's levels felt more like actually places, but in JoD, the levels feel way too generic for a NiGHTS game. even though Splash Garden and spring Valley are both a bunch of Green Hills, there's a bunch of other stuff there that get you more immersed into the level.

This post was longer, BUT I'm going to save it for the review of JoD that I've been planning.

I 99% liked the game - the only thing that bothered me was that NiGHTS was so willing to terrorize Octopaw. Things they could've added: Maybe if there was an unlockable feature where you could download a nightopian to your DS, like chao in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Even better would be if you could interact with your nightopian with the DS touch screen and microphone.

  • Interests:I like NiGHTS, Sonic games, the Nightmare Before Christmas (I wonder what would happen if Oogie and Reala met... hmmmm.....) Writing, drawing, art in any way, shape, or form, hard rock music, dancing wildly even though I can't dance for crap. I write poetry and lyrics (although they're not very good T__T) and comedy movies. I love the Dreamcast podcast that DiGi and TRiPPY put on. I also enjoy thinking outside the box. I'm what is known as a Meathead. I can laugh at myself, think outside the box, and smile. Meatheads are smarter than your average Joe, with much more common sense and the rare ability to find creative solutions to problems. My idol is a man named Jimmy Dolittle. Look him up ^.~
Oh... one thing, one thing.... Argh.... Well, besides Bomamba, I'd have to say....

BRING BACK JACKLE PLZKTHX

I can't believe Jackle wasn't in the game.

One thing only? More story! Every time Nights and one of the kids talk about something deep the conversation is interrupted by off screen nightmares causing mischief which translate to it's minigame time!
