Ok, I saw this on the internet and tryed it and I am truly lost.

If you beat puffy before the timer goes down to 90, at the final room where she dies the door on the left wall opens and a swirly-looking spike pops out. Has anyone figured out what this does? Does it have a special effect on gameplay, or anything else? I have never figured this out.

Ok, you know the last room in the mansion where puffy dies? theres that green wall on the back. theres the shape of a door.

Anyway, if you beat puffy before the timer reaches 90, that door will open and a swirly spike will come out. its very odd.

That's happened to me quite often. As far as I can recall from the old boards no one ever figured out what if any purpose it served. I could be wrong though. It seems like it would do something, otherwise why have it happen?

i know. I recall it also happenin to me when it was in either the 80s or 70s on the timer and it happened. Maybe it effects the pians or something.

Isn't there something similar that happens if you beat Jackle at a certain time? Something about his guillotine? I have a fuzzy memory of this being discussed in the old forums...

Maybe there's something like this for all the bosses (Maybe even WizeMan). But im not sure what it would accomplish.

Probably just a little easter egg/graphic reward for beating the boss in a certain time span, serving no real purpose other than to go "Congratz!".

Well, I suck at beating bosses in a timely manner. Especially Puffy and Jackle. Sometimes GillWing too.

Yes from what I heard. Except I remember someone saying it happens when you have 10 seconds left. I know I saw it once before but I didn't see the time.

I know many have confermined the Puffy thing though. It doesn't seem to be anything sepecial. Its just there for looks. However, I have never heard anything for the other bosses, and I never noticed anything either.
