......nope. I'll have to replay that level when my friend finishes borrowing the game.
My guess: It's the tree. maybe it was using it as a center point or something. anyones guess is as good as mine.

Wow, that is super annoying! And it's not like it just happened once!
My guess is it's just bad programming or a bug. When I play the Chase Missions I get some really bad camera angles when I'm flying beside the Goodle, or when the camera is turning around a corner, and it does the same thing. It shows a side view of NiGHTS and you can't see anything thats coming up.

I dunno, I think these camera angles were intentional...mostly because of the fluid transition instead of being "BWAM! NEW ANGLE!"
I get the angle change for the Goodle chases too. I think that, once you're that close to a Goodle, all you really care about is where it is and not where anything else is.
There's also the fact that the camera is VERY consistent in where it is. I've played this modified version of Sky Concert a handful of times, and the camera change is always in the same place.

I had the same thing happen to me!
Ugh, I was so angry. So I restarted the Wii. That worked.

Ouch. That is a really bad situation, that is. That has never happened to me, but from my own experience in bad camera angles in games, I can sympathize with you.

When I played that level it was consistent to show me where I was going, but at certain points in your video it moves to the left.

Perhaps the Wii prefers side scrollers lol sorry that was a bad joke

Yes, of course the Wii likes 2-D side scrollers. It has all those titles on the VC, and it also had Super Paper Mario.
2-D will never die.

And it had better not. I'm gonna get myself the Bionic Commando remake when it hits PSN and XBLA. I can't wait for that game.Yes, of course the Wii likes 2-D side scrollers. It has all those titles on the VC, and it also had Super Paper Mario.
