Some people are probably aware of this, but on Mare 3 of Memory Forest there are flowers that give out blue chips and they can be reused over and over again on the same lap. By exploiting this part of the game you can keep getting large links. And every time you get links you extend your time (I think 1 sec for every 4 links). So you can do this over and over until you run out of dash and run out of time. I can usually last about 10 mins, and I've achieved a score of just over 135,000 on Mare 3.
Here's a video of my whole run, achieving a final score of 348,745, with a 1.9 at the boss. I had to shorten the video to meet the 10 minute limit on youtube.
I wouldn't say it's cheating because it's not a glitch and anyone can do it easily, I just think it's a little too easy, and it's kind of boring to do it for 10 mins.
But I only have a ranking of #4 so there must be other people doing this too.
So does anyone consider this cheating or is it just cheap? Or neither?

nah, i dont think so.
the sega staff left that in, so how can it be cheating, and like you said, if other people are doing it, i dont think it can really be considerd as cheating.
i just wonder how long the No.1 ranking person did it for. 20 mins, 30 or an hour?

Perhaps it's not cheating but it sounds too boring to do that for over 10 minutes.
