Like the previous posters have already said, that WIP is GORGEOUS~
I'd go with the night sky, personally. It might have been done a zillion times before, but it really does put the focus on NiGHTS a bit more. The dawn background is brilliant, but... I don't know, something about all that color in combination with NiGHTS colorful self that makes me a bit : /
Either way, I'm positive the finished result will be mindblowing. :3

Thanks to all who gave some input for the NiGHTS wip~ <3 I've decided on the night bg, even though it has been done so often. XD It does make him stand out the most, which is what I want. Perhaps I'll use the other bg for another piece.
And speaking of NiGHTS, here's what happens when you play too much Ecco with NiGHTS on the brain:
It's dolphin!NiGHTS XD Ah haha~ Wonder if he'll still have that supposed dolphin form in the new game? Hope so~ I'm itching to draw dragon!NiGHTS too, hmm...

Oh my gosh! Dolphin NiGHTS looks great beyond reason. The details are awsome! I have the Ecco game too ^^ I still havent beaten it yet because im scared of the last boss O_O And i had the game for over 5 years now. Shame on me.
