[Misaki-chan]

Hiya, everyone.

My name's Cassandra, or "Cassi", if you prefer. (But I hate spelling it "Cassie", just so you know.) I also go by Misaki, which is the name of an old RP character of mine that I never really used. But I still love the name.

Hm, about me... well, I'm 19 and I'm kind of an amateur designer of sorts. Very amateur. I really like all kinds of costume and clothing design (also some minor interest in hair and makeup), but I don't have any kind of real experience or training. Since I can't afford to go to college or anything yet, I still live at home with my mom and my cat. Right now, I'm also unemployed, which is why I'm online at what is 3 AM in my time zone.

The funny thing is, I don't play a lot of video games. I used to play a lot more when I was younger. Now, I kind of just keep up with a couple of the series I used to love then, mostly on friends' systems. NiGHTS managed to distract me away from Super Mario 64 back in the late 90's. More recently, Space Channel 5 and Rez became two more of my favorite games of all time. Now, I'm hoping to eventually get a Wii, so when I heard about the new NiGHTS sequel I was naturally very excited.

im also a huge fan on space channel 5! i think the game is awesome! i once had an idea of a space channel 5 game for the Wii! can you imagine it? aiming at the screen and go "CHU!" hehe

It's funny, Rhayader, I've been thinking the same thing about Space Channel 5 being a great series to bring back on the Wii. I've heard some rumors about it being a possibility, but unfortunately nothing confirmed yet.

That makes me think, though... maybe I should try to come up with some designs for new Ulala outfits...

Whether or not SC5 comes, though, we ARE getting NiGHTS on the Wii. And that seemed impossible less than a year ago. So I guess there's hope for anything.

Yeah, I'm feeling particularly grooooovy today. So I went ahead and changed my avi to Pine.

Why Pine and not Ulala? Well, because she kinda looks like me, actually. Light skin, dark hair, light brown eyes. I just don't lead a squad of Sexy Space Police in a space-age cowboy hat with a rocket pack on my... butt?



Well... okay, it's technically on her belt. Still... we all know what it looks like...

Oh, you would not BELIEVE how much I would love to really design something. Of course, I'm unemployed, untrained, and a complete perfectionist. So I doubt I'll have anything worth showing for a while. You know, lack of materials, complete embarrassment when things turn out wrong. Welcome to the world of Cassi Antoinette.

But I really want to start working on some sketches soon. If I manage to get any done and find a scanner I can use, I'll definitely post them.

EDIT: New avi. An anime version of me! I actually don't know what the picture's from, but it does look a bit like me, and I just LOVE her dress. Thanks to my little sis for fixing it in Photoshop for me! *blows kiss*

Just adding a new post to this thread to let people know I'm on MySpace now. Of course, I only have one friend on who actually is on MySpace, and I never finished entering all the crazy loads of information you can put on your profile. But I'm there, if anyone's interested.
