I actually might have posted this before. Anyways, I found, with the help of my music teacher, that the note that NiGHTS is holding when he's on Twin Seeds' spire is a extremely high D or E flat. The note does not officially exist on the flute and actually sounds kinda ugly. I've been playing flute for four or so years, so I guess i'm able to say that this is the closest approximation.

I know that, but this is just my approximation. Say NiGHTS or some really good flute player walked up to me right now and played that note. I might be right or I might be wrong. Other people can have their own approximations, except the note just sounds like an E or D flat to me. I guess I shouldn't have confirmed my own judgement so quickly (sorry).
And I'm a girl.
Also to viper, this is just considering that dreamflutes work the same as regular flutes. And I don't own a piccolo but I want to switch for a short while next year.

Maybe it is different for the fue (Japanese flute). I am not really knowledgeable as to if the instrument even has any difference. I also know that traditional Japanese flute music tends to sound ugly to those used to Western music?

OH! Sorry again. I wanted to learn how to play a Japanese flute, but I couldn't find one in my area (before then I thought that they were the same thing, and I'm still a little hazy on the subject), so I got a regular, metal flute. According to the info I just looked up, a Fue is made of bamboo. I personally think bamboo flutes sound better than metal, and it doesn't seem like it takes forever to tune either.
